That was probably the most frustrating game I've ever watched as a Ravens fan. Billick abandoning the run in the 2nd half even though it had been effective , McNair choking and the defense getting tired in the 4th quarter.

thats what happens when you let the Colts D destroy you. i have that game on tape, but afraid to watch

First I would like to say that our black uniforms are my favorite uniform of any team in the NFL. Secondly, I would like to state that the reason Harbaugh does not like them is because we do not win in the black uniforms that often. Yes, it may be because we wear them during prime time games, but we still aren't willing with them so he wanted to kill that trend. He may be superstitious too, but that's why he had them wear white pants instead of black on black because it had never been done before. If you ask me black on black won't EVER happen under Harbaugh, we won a prime time game vs the Skins in black uni's HIS way, and he will keep it that way.

I also don't understand why purple is our primary color, raven's are black so our black uniforms should be our home uni's.

i wish we could do one game with the original logo and unis....but that one guy who claimed we stole his logo 6 years after we stopped using it might pop back up

i actually met that guy who created the logo. he won a contest and they used the logo, but they didnt give him any compensation, so he sued. They paid him a nice amount and He got to take a picture holding the Lombardi trophy when we won in 2000. His story is legit, and thats why he won the case. They changed the helmet logo when he asked for royalties on the helmet design. I wonder if he notices that the ravens still wear that logo on their arms

Personally I think the all White ones should be our home jersey's. And the all black could be the away jersey.

A problem with all black is so many teams (college and high school too) seem to have a version. Its gotten to be ho-hum to me - reminds me of USSR uniforms from 70's. I don't buy into the intimidating thing either. I played in college and cant remember ever caring what a teams uniform looked like. Playing vs a smart player trying to kick your butt is intimidating. I remember in 07 Rutgers broke out new all blacks vs West Virginia. Coach wanted to psyche guys up he said. Rutgers not only lost they got whupped in humiliating fashion. Not only did they lose by a ton of points but WV had a dozen season highlight reel plays. Coach said nobody is going to ever see those black uniforms at Rutgers again.

We actually play well in all black. They are my favorites too. Nothing less than all blacks on Madden. But I think that was a Billick thing with the primetime all blacks. I actually like the white tops with black pants look also......
