Bad calls are part of the NFL, The refs blew a call on Justin Smith last year that cost us the game

at Tampa Bay and we wound up 1 game short of the playoffs!! so i'm not ashamed to take this win at all!!!

Bad calls happen all the time we all have to live with that unless they review every play..........

Oh and by the way, Chad Johnson had nothing but praise for the way your defense played!!!

Bengals Fan, WHODEY!!!

U should be happy with the win. Hell if we would have scored and won all Ravens fans would have been happy with a wn that saw 5 turnovers and like 10 penalties. Fans enjoy any win. However much like TJ Housh last season i have to say the better team lost monday night. The good thing is we have another chance to prove it. We can't blame the refs because we shouldn't have been in that position.

As far as Chad praising the defense, i really don't see what other choice he had. We held you guys to 50 yards in the second half of the game. We shut your running game down for most of the game. We only sacked CP once but hit him a lot. The Bengal offense did not have one succesful drive of their own against the Ravens defense. The only time you guys were able to score points was when the Ravens offense turned the ball over and gave u great field position.

Our first turnover u guys missed a field goal.

The 2nd you guys found Chad on a great route.

The 3rd you guys could only get a field goal.

Then u guys took advantage of a 15 yard personal foul on a punt return that put u out across the 50.

The 4th turnover your defense scored.

The 5th gave u guys a start just outside of the redzone.

the 6th ended the game.

I hear many people say that the Ravens were lucky only to be down by 2 at the half. I say the Bengals are lucky the Ravens were unusally poor in ball control, or they could have won this game running away. Now of course we lost so all of this looks more like excuses then fact. So i'll just say that i hope both teams are 100% healthy for game 2 and good luck the rest of the way

i agree with you on that...i think that was very well thought out and explained in detail....besides the Bengal Offense on its OWN (without the Ravens Turnovers) only scored 3 points....we flat out just gave you those points, you can bet that next time there will be a totally different Ravens Offense on the field....the Offense we saw on Monday Night, is gone and done with...w're now moving forward and determined NOT to make those Mistakes again

I only wish this was true. :D But our offense gave up to much.

I think that was just wishful thinking on my part. :D I saw a interview were Chad said our D was great and it was almost unfair to have to play us. The day someone can make a comment like that our the Ravens as a team and not just a defense. Then we will be a dynasty or close to it.

i'll give credit to Chad for saying that about our Defense...very noble of him, and he aknowledged the fact that our offense was having an off day and if The Ravens offense was running on ALL cylinders, then we'd be talking different

The Bengals offense wasn't even close to running on all cylinders last night. The defense actually bailed them out for once. Don't get me wrong, the Ravens defense is great year in and year out, but Palmer knows how to play them.

and we know Defense..after all we are Baltimore...one of the most feared Defenses in the NFL for the last Decade or so, so we ALSO know how to play, the Bengal Offense only Managed to drive downfield 1, in which turned into a Field goal and not a Touchdown....24 of those Bengal points were un-earned due to Our Mis-handling of the ball....IF (im saying if because i dont know for sure) the Offense hadnt turned the ball over that many times, we COULD very well be talking about a Ravens Victory here...BUT as it stands....the Bengals won, and i still say that Heap Touchdown catch in the endzone was a TD....there was absolutely no pentalty....it was "under review" on NFL net work and the head of officiating said that, yes it was a mistake on their part, and sometimes it happens...and one more thing... Our Offense was for dang sure, not running on All cylinders either

I am a Bengals fan, but have recently become a Ray Lewis Fan. I think the man has class, plain and simple. Since the Bengals/Ravens game, I have seen many interviews with him and he represents the Ravens Organization with dignity & Class. I also enjoy the rivalry between him and Chad. They clearly have a good relationship and the friendly bantering makes football fun to watch.

As for the game......What can I say. I was lucky enough to attend our Home Opener, and the atmosphere was Awesome. I was pumped, along with 60,000 other fans. I was extremely disappointed in our offense, and pleasantly surprised by our defense. Yes, I believe the call against Todd Heap should not have been called. He clearly did not gain any advantage by what little contact there was. That would have tied it up, and sent us into overtime. (quite frankly, I don't think my heart could have taken overtime!) Who knows how that would have ended???? Could've gone either way. Neither team was playing to it's full potential, but it was a nerve racking game to say the least. It just happen to go our way this time. I look forward to the next time we meet the Ravens. With any luck, both teams will stay healthy and play to full potential this time.

Good luck with the Jets!

P.S. Please do not think badly of Bengals fans because of a few Idiotic Morons. The majority of us

are not like that!

Do the bengals not have a web site. Where are these guys coming from. I think jungle fan is one of us in disguise. He's definately not a real bengals fan. I know I would'nt praise him or the bengals. All bengals fans here should convert or leave.

First of all, He is a She. Second of all, I am a FOOTBALL fan and my team of choice is the Bengals. I was not praising the Ravens, simply stating my observations. Would you rather I come in and Just make blatant remarks against the ravens that are not necessarily true? Would that make me a "real" Bengals fan? No, that would make me one of the few idiots out there that just spout off random remarks to stir the pot and get a rise out of the competition. Sorry, that's not my style.

And since I know there are Bengals fans out there like that, I am going to conclude that Ravens fans also have a few. Namely you.

Very well said... I personally enjoy hearing from fans of teams other than the Ravens... it offers a different perspective that we as ravens fans might not be noticing because we will ultimately be biased towards our team... as long as the comments are appropriate accurate and intelligent it shouldnt matter who it comes from... Also, I dont know about anyone else but a compliment from a fan of another team on one of our players is a hell of a compliment... Thanks JungleFan...

Are you kidding? It went from a Roar to being able to hear a pin drop. I think Everyone in the stadium was thinking...."Oh please God, don't let this be happening again!"

It's amazing how ONE play can change the atmosphere so drastically!

I know sitting at home i was thinking that the game was over. Your offense wasn't having any success against our defense and i'm thinking we are running the ball pretty well so the game is over. I was yelling, saying it was a 60 minute ball game and you guys thought the game should have been over after the first quarter. Then bam another turnover and tide swings again. I really think it was a entertaining game for anyone outside of Baltimore and Cincy. For Cincy fans it had to be nerve wrecking cuz i know it sure was for us Ravens fans.

Nerve Wrecking isn't the words to describe it. At one point....I couldn't even watch. Everyone in the stadium was on their feet, yelling, banging on the seats. I just sat down for a few minutes, cuz I thought for sure they were gonna lose it! Then Rudi fumbles the ball....(RUDI NEVER FUMBLES!)....and again....I thought it was over. Never been through so many highs and lows in all my life! I was actually glad it was over!

I have heard several sports commentators call it the best of game of week One....and I have to agree!
