Onyl way that could happen is if we trade someone big to a team who is lower than us....Like Miami or maybe even the Patriots? Troy Smith = New back up QB for Brady. :)

If not I am sure we can draft a LB with our 2nd round or 3rd round pick...right?

Laura already has a fitting nickname. Why dont we just trade for Bobby Carpenter and save the draft pick for someone who can help us?

Great instincts but too slow and not the strongest of men plus name one ohio state linebacker that has dominated or even done well in the NFL

Theyre similar but Hawk is faster and stronger.

Mike Vrabel is a Buckeye and has been a very good player.

Regardless, I don't want the Ravens to get Laurinaitis. I have never seen him show up in a big game and although he could be a solid pro, I think the Ravens have more pressing needs.

Laurinitis = What Jonathan Vilma did in the 3-4

Epic Failure

plus I don't even have a good feeling about him, he has nothing that wows you

If we get Laurinaitis, that will make me a very unhappy Ravens fan. If we already didn't have Gooden to play the "feature" ILB I wouldn't mind it too much, but he just doesn't fit what we need on the inside. I agree with RavenStorm above if we were to go for an ILB in the draft (w/o the possibility of getting Maualuga).

I have only 2 concerns for the 2009 Draft. 1st and most improtant is a WR, and 2nd is a LB. i think that the best thing we can do is to trade our 1st and our 3rd round picks for Antwan Boldin and try to trade up and take James Laurinaitis in the early second round. does anyone know if he will be available in the second round, and what do you think about my idea?

first of all its "anquan" not antwan, but i have mixed feelings about trading our 1st and 3rd... thats giving up a lot, but i think he would be a great addition to our franchise.. i dont really think laurinaitis will fit Baltimore's system though.. i think he'll have to play in the 4-3 to succeed, but only time will tell

oh i thought u were trying to say that hes the first person to come to mind thinking about slow weak LB's
even Hawk has underachieved though maybe he'll be better inside
i really hope we get a WR, LB, RT in the first 3 rounds of the draft
maybe something like
Maualuga, Loadholt, Iglesias
or Britt, Loadholt, Brinkley
