I think our only edition(for now), the story of the 2000 Ravens, is the best one! theres so many great parts!

My favorite parts:

~ When they score a TD for the first time in 21 quarters
~ Ray Lewis- "when he said men lets go win a Super Bowl, my mouth got watered. I say pheww."  u gotta see it
~ The "P" Word
~ Brian Billick- The pundits and experts are gonna pick this apart and talk about some kiss ****** 3rd down percentage. Hey. F*** them all.
~ Billick's screamin like a banchie speech
~ Dilfers game winning TD pass to beat the Titans in the regular season.
~ Billick on the sideline- "If we go to the Super Bowl like this i may never throw another pass again. Burn my degree from BYU" :D
~ Ray Lewis intro dance
~ Ray Lewis steely eyed focus part where its showin his hits and highlights
~ Ray Lewis- "Now, even those who don't like me.......Got to watch me."
~ Ray Lewis about game sealin int return vs. titans in AFCCG- "I remember Eddie(George) grabbin my leg. And i remember snatchin my leg from Eddie. And runnin down that sideline, I could not hear a sound. I remember I put my finger up to my mouth and told Adelphia Coliseum to be quiet. Cause yall done."

AND THE BEST PART OF ALL

Jermaine Lewis returns 2 punts for touchdowns in his first game back after his son was stillborn in a 34-20 victory over the Jets.

What are your favorite parts??
you pretty much summed up all my favorite parts haha
and J Lews story is a very sad one but inspiring

I just saw this over the weekend. I missed the first 10 minutes, so I tried to find a replay to DVR it, but didn't see any for this week.

I really enjoyed it. I first turned in when Trent Dilfer was on screen and that worried me for a few seconds, but he was fine. I was worried that he would show some residual anger over being released after that year, but I guess he's over it. I'm glad. I'd heard that he and the Ravens [or was it he and Billick?] resolved their issues, but I didn't know when this special was made or how well Dilfer had gotten over it. I was impressed with him in this.

That aside, some of my favorite parts:

As already mentioned... J-Lew's 2 punt touchdown returns for his son - and after the first one, Ray told him there would be another. Definitely emotional.

Also emotional? Billick telling how the fans would rage at Ray and call him a murderer. It made me proud, though, when Billick added that, although Ray didn't need any more steely reserve, this just make him stronger.

And for the more fun parts:

Billick, the offensive genius, going to the "dark side": "If we go to the Super Bowl like this, I may never throw another pass again."

Ray and Eddie George. BTW, did you know that Eddie's wife is on this season's Survivor?

Everything Ray Lewis.

Comcast [just in my area?] is losing the NFL network in May. Sigh. I just "discovered" it during this past season and now it will be gone. :(

Okay, now I have to go buy those DVDs. I didn't even know they were out there... Thanks for the heads-up!

How about where Ray had a private meeting with the team, and told them how he saw that they were in Tampa at the superbowl and all about his premonition and what not

I have unfortunately not seen it. I think I'll order the DVD off of Amazon for like $10 or something soon.

To the original poster-- thanks for bringing it to our attention.

I purchased this DVD and the Greatest Games set of DVDs (regarding the playoffs and SB) after reading everyone's comments.

I watched the America's Game DVD, and feel that it was well made (albeit a bit short) and came close to getting a bit misty-eyed.

I just watched the wildcard game vs the Broncos-- what a game!

Both are an excellent addition to my library, and they've already made my summer off-season somewhat bearable.

To anyone who hasn't seen these, please consider doing so!

Here's hoping that the 2009 season will merit another America's Game chapter for the Ravens...

Yeah, I was hanging on to the channel hoping for one of those Sunday replays [for a game that we win and not just the Pittsburgh ones] and I thought this Sunday was my last chance until I remembered that it would be wall-to-wall draft coverage. Not that I don't want to see that... just hoping for one last shot at a Ravens replay game...

It says "on or about May 1st..." Dare I hope for one more week?

I went to the NFL Network website and it said something like, "We wanted to give it to you for free, but Comcast wants to charge you, so we're cancelling the contract" like they're doing us a favor, fighting for us to get it for free. So they cancel it altogether - so we can't get it at all. They didn't do us any favors. If we're willing to pay the five bucks, let us pay it - do they think Comcast is going to buckle and give us another free channel? Comcast doesn't care.

[now, someone say I'm wrong and Comcast will most certainly care. They'll sign a new contract and we'll get NFL for free. I'm totally willing to be wrong on this.]

I just thought it might make you feel better to see it. Even though it isn't true.

I hunted down this thread to say that the NFL network is replaying the America's Game: Story of the 2000 Baltimore Ravens on July 5th at 4pm. So, grill a few more burgers, pull out the leftover potato salad from the 4th of July celebrations and settle down for some enjoyable TV!
Re-live the story of the 2000 Baltimore Ravens through the eyes of Brian Billick, Ray Lewis and Trent Dilfer. Narrated by Alec Baldwin.
[by the way, I didn't realize it when I was hunting for this thread, but it's the one where 'cheeze' assured me that Comcast would give us the NFL network for free! Not that either of us believed it then, but it came true!]
I've seen it!....Although it won't surprise me if they don't do one on the 2009 Steelers.....Howver there will or hopefully be oen for...The 2010 Ravens
I wonder wht they will call the 2009 Steelers one?

The luckiest team in the NFL?
How to get 6 points by catching the ball at the 1 yard line?
Refs only see what we want them to see?
