Cutler For Campbell?

I was listening to 104.3 and they said a trade could happen by the end of the day! What?!!?!? I think it was either Campbell/and Cooley for cutler or Campbell and a draft pick. What you guys think?

I feel like if it does happen that Cutler and the skins will be beasting on offense and Campbell will be Campbell and blow for the Broncos

Last I had heard the Broncos weren't interested in Campbell. They are saying a qb doesn't have to be part of the package of the trade for Cutler, just two first round picks. Hadn't heard the Cooley part of the deal though...that is interesting.

I am thinking the Redskins are trying to pull a 3 way. Send Campbell to Tampa, Detriot, NYR, or something like that for a pick and then ship the two 1st rounders and the other pick from Campbell to Denver for Cutler.

To get him they are going to have to give up more then the two round 1 picks, since other teams will probably be willing to pay that price. They dont have a 2nd rounder this year so, if they are able to move Campbell they can turn around and ship that pick to Denver with the two first rounders, Denver's asking price, to get him.

I wasn't quoting you before lol...I just mean't in general. I wonder what implications the accusations the Titans are throwing at the Skins (for tampering because of Haynesworth) will have on their attempts to get Cutler? If the NFL finds that the Skins did tamper, they will have to give up draft picks, correct?

Well since the 'Skins are throwing picks left and right, there probably won't be any draft choices left for the NFL to take away.

But you never know... now that JC knows he is expendable in his teams eyes, he might try to like win games and stuff like that. Or he could stop answering his phone and demand a trade.

I was just having the same conversation with a group of my guy friends over a drink after class...the Skins just did the EXACT thing to Campbell that sent Cutler packing from Denver. I don't really see Campbell being as cocky/confident as Cutler is with himself though, and considering what he just saw happen with Cutler, I doubt he will be ruffling any feathers and demanding a trade...especially in the last year of his contract.

I dont think its that similar. The big problem, imo, with McDaniels and Cutler is that they were just begining their relationship and unfortunatly for them it got started off on the wrong foot. Campbell and Zorn seemed to work together well last season.
