Which Wr Duo Scares You Most ?

The reason Moss and Welker are so scary is the mis-matches they present. Moss is taller than most corners in the league and his leaping ability makes him even more dangerous. Welker is small but is incredibly quick and a very precise route runner.

Yeah but since he can't catch the ball, we can just leave him wide open and double the other guy :D

Hes missed 16 games over the last 6 years... thats not bad. Especially considering he was only out two weeks with a surgically repaired face.

Missed 4 games this past season and was only 1 TD behind Calvin Johnson and Fitz as the top TD guys in the league, hes definitely one of the scariest guys in the league to gameplan against, especially when you team him with Breaston and Fitzy.

I am surprised that no one has mentioned Ward and Holmes. Double Super Bowl MVP's that we have to play at least twice each year. The two of them contribute directly in two tough division games. I know they won't put up amazing numbers, but losing those two division games could be crippling to our season. That scares me the most.

That's alot, the equivalent of an entire season. And he's only played 16 games in a season twice in his career.

Thats 2.6 games a season he misses, yeah its more than some others, but hes a tough guy. When he is in the game, he and Fitz are by far the scariest duo in my opinion, and you can't gameplan for him to hopefully be hurt.

Going back to the original post, when healthy, this squad of WR's is the scariest, plain and simple.

Houshmanzadeh has missed 22 games in that 6 year span.. I just don't see Boldin as an injury prone guy, he just gets nicked up and misses a couple games. You can't deny his effectiveness when hes on the field though

Except the topic didn't say "when healthy." When Boldin's on the field, I agree, that's easily the best receiver tandem, but when one of the top two is hurt frequently, it matters.

So you think teams plan for Boldin to get hurt when they play? Breaston is no slouch either, and you have to game plan for Boldin either way, its not like hes has season ending 6-10 game injuries.

We'll agree to disagree lol

Breaston is a beast. Even their #4 (Urban) is pretty good, and even after that they've got Early Doucet. It' by far the deepest recieving corps in the league.

Some teams have insane luck in some areas.
We're going to play a bunch a good receiving duo next year ! i would love to know which duo u guys think will give the hardest time to D-Fox and Fabian ! for me, our two guys are going to have the hardest time against Brandon Marshall and Eddie Royal two big physical wrs !

what about you guys ?
Well now its fox, fabian, and rolle and without cutler throwing them the ball they are going to have a hard time.

And yet nobody here mentions the duo that managed to beat you 3 times last year.

Might not put up the biggest numbers compared to some other guys but much of that is due to the nature of a Steelers/Ravens game.

As fans you may be more "scared" of guys like Moss etc.

Your players are much more worried about Ward. Well except for Bart Scott.. He took his ball and went to play elsewhere. Clearly not wanting to get smacked around by a lil WR any longer.

Fitzgerald and Boldin no question.

When Fitzgerald is on the field you HAVE to double cover him leaving only 1 guy on Boldin, which is why he prevails. Really these two guys are defense changers when they're on the field.

I agree with fitz and boldin, but I think Evans and T.O might start to scare some secondaries across the league if they can work well together
