Could South Carolina Te Jared Cook Make A Swtich To Wr?

7 posts in this topic

Hes a pure vertical threat and has the same measurables as Chargers WR Vincent Jackson, Cook looks similiar and pretty impressive on the limited gametape and some scouts have been saying hes the best size, speed combo since Calvin Johnson, but as a TE he cant block. 2nd round? Thoughts?

I doubt he will be thought of as a potential WR, but he would probably do well in a Dallas Clark type role in the Indy offense. That is basically a WR, Dallas Clark is in for a lot of the 3WR sets for Indy in the slot.

He will def. present some matchup problems for a LB with the speed he has.

I really like him as a player, and since we have blocking TE's (Heap & Sypniewski) it would be great to have a good receiving TE. Not to fond of L.J.

At this point if we're going to get a project reciever we might as well go for the biggest fastest one left.

And the guy can truck.
