Britt is a first rounder ! HE is the guy we need ! He needs to get a bit more effective with his hands but he's faster than Nicks and run good routes ! he doesn't need to have a big seperation due to his size ! he'll be so effective on our offense and plus i saw him shaking people in college, that man loves contact so bad, he will learn that he mustn't do that in the nfl !! a guy like that who is just 20 years old and shows that he loves contact, he'll get stronger with our great conditioning trainers and coach harbaugh's hard practice, Britt will simply become a BEAST ! he recalls me of Brandon Marshall ! he'll be better than marshall cause he will conduce himself pretty well !
Britt is not faster than Nicks on the game tape because hes a long strider, he has decent top speed but accelerates and cuts like a truck. Nicks is more fluid in his movement so plays faster.

I like Nicks gametape better but either way Im happy.

well he's a 6'3 almost 6'4 wide receiver, that's a heavy body to move, but i still think that he would bring more than Nicks ! i wouldn't say that if we were another team, but i really think we need a big target to shake that steelers secondary, we're also going to play Bob Sanders and his secondary next year, the patriots have also signed physical db's... i know Nicks is extremly talented, but Britt is gifted with big size big hands, and speed even in a small space ! What i say is, Nicks is more talented and probably the most ready for an NFL start, but the one who comes after is Britt, the next Brandon Marshall !
I read on PFT that we are supposed to work out Britt this week, and also heard it on Scott and Anita this evening.

An article I found on Britt, written back in November. "Is Rutgers Kenny Britt better than Texas Tech's Michael Crabtree?"...

http://www.nj.com/rutgersfootball/index.ss..._rutgers_b.html

Keep in mind, Crabtree has played one more game, 10 to 9. Britt's suspension against Morgan State, when he conceivably could have put up big numbers, hurts him.

Catches:
Crabtree 78
Britt 68

Catches per game
Crabtree: 7.8
Britt: 7.5

Yards
Crabtree: 1010
Britt: 994

Yards per game
Britt: 110.1
Crabtree 101.0

Yards per catch
Britt: 14.6
Crabtree: 12.9

TDs
Crabtree: 18
Britt: 5

Catches to beat the nation's No. 1 team on national television
Crabtree: 1
Britt: 0

Well, I'm not sure if he's better than Crabtree, but what I'm curious to discuss, is if he is in fact better for us than Darrius Hayward-Bey? Many mock drafts have us taking DHB at number 26 and Britt going shortly there after. I just wanted to stir some discussion on our feelings towards Britt vs. Darrius, (I know there's some serious love for the kid because hes a native) but Britt's looking pretty beast in these highlights. Is he the deep threat we're looking to hook Flaccs up with in 2009, or is Darrius a better fit? What are Hortiz, Decosta and Oz thinking? Let's Discuss.

Best thing about that video is it shows how he fights for every single yard he can get after the first hit.

The thing i like most about Britts highlight reel is that u see him making plays at every level of the field. Not just plays of him wide open it's show the type of WR he is.

As for his speed, he plays plenty fast. Yes he is a long strider, but he eats up coverage and moves well with or without the ball.

Nicks is probably more explosive, but Britt probably has the better body control. Both guys are pretty good at what they do.
