Commissioner Goodell Wants 17 To 18 Regular Season Games

I'm against this, and my concern is how this works, cause I'm sure most people are familiar with the current 16 game schedule (6 divisional, 4 from another division, 4 from the other conference, and the other 2 that were in the same rank in their division). So where does the other game or games come from? If this happens next season who are the other two opponents for the ravens, and whose decision is it?

My issue is they get paid enough as it is. Beside that though did you hear about the deal the NFL made with DirecTV? DirecTV will pay the NFL $1 Billion dollars A YEAR! Thats right a BILLION. Thats an increase of $300 million just from last year. So there will be plenty of money to go around even in these tough economic times.

If there will be one or two games added, it will most probably add to the 2 that would be in the same rank, but the NFC teams could be more involved.

Excluding the NFC north who Baltimore plays, there are three teams in the NFC that came in second in their division. So which of the two would Baltimore play; Philly, San Fran, or Atlanta?

Then again who decides, the owners (like they won't be looking out for their teams), the players association, Goodell (yeah right, NE and Dallas would play Detroit and Oakland every year)?

16 games is just fine, if anyone wants more, watch arena football. Beggars can't be choosers.
