Bengals Fan On 'ray Lewis'

18 posts in this topic

In watching the Ravens playing the Bengals, Ray Lewis made a hit and tore his Tricep Muscle. Like the Iron Man we all know him as, he played the rest of the game with the pain. I decided then that I'm a Ray Lewis Fan.

Yes, I know Ravens Fans, you should've won the game. Five fumbles, you all but gave the game to us. Luck went our way for once, and its about time.

Bengals Fans have alot to be proud of this year, Johnson, Palmer, etc., but nothing can compare to a man like Ray Lewis. This is why I love Football because of tough players like him. Ravens Fans, your lucky to have Ray on your team. And would'nt you know it, I just watched 'Beyond the Glory' 'The Ray Lewis Story' on the FSCN. Did you know that his Mom is his hero. Every Ravens Fan should watch that story. Good luck this year, and we'll see you in Baltimore.

Yep, Its always good to see another rivals team be so mature about situations like this.

I totally respect Lewis now to if I didn't before, I was proud to be wearing 52 on Monday when watching the game.

Dont get me wrong I dig what Chad does on the field and with his love of the game, but Ray show'd what Heart is last night. Dude did you see him a few plays after he knew he tore his muscle, he pulled Rudi down with one arm!!!! Dang! It was a penalty but, just because he could do it, the Ref's should've let it go.

Ray Lewis is a warrior and he definitely proved it last night. He was obvious pain. I think taped up and re-taped his arm twice but he continued to play, delivered some big hits and toughned it out. I just hope he didn't aggrevate it even more and sits out a few games. We need him because although Ed Reed is the QB of the defense, he is much better disecting coverage.

Way to be a sport. You should know full well what karma brings to the table. I think your time is come and gone so you better get ready for week 9 when Ray Rays tearing the Bengals a new one. The Ravens are going to go the distance year (yeah I'm serious, F the naysayers, they don't mean a thing ;) ) while the Bengals will slowly.......... fade.............................. away...............................

Ray Lewis is a murderer and an old man way past his prime. If he wants to keep on playing he's going to have to get used to playing with injuries. His body has taken beating over the last 12 years and he won't be the key factor he once was. He should have retired while he can still walk, because after this year he's going to be banged up beyond repair.

You're so gay!

Ray Lewis is better than any Bengals Defensive player... BY FAR!

leave!

And to Stevo,

Thank you;

It's refreshing to see a intelligent Bengals fan rather than the dip****s that currently troll this forum

Well, this is the great thing about football. Everyone loves their team to the core. If you don't than your just not a "Die Hard Fan". You get all kinds of responses from different people and I welcome all, , Good and Bad. This is football !!!! and our favorites like 'Ray' and 'Chad' would'nt want it any other way. So on that note I say "Who Dey".

To bengals #1,

Wow, That is about the most ingnorant thing I have ever heard. I am going to completely ignore your first statement as it is the most horrendous accusation you can make and an incredibly hanous thing to say. Now onto your belief that Ray is past his prime.. I find this hard to believe considering that with a torn tricep Ray made 11 tackles against Rudi, a supposed power back. If you had even an ounce of football knowledge you would see that he was easily the best tackler for either team. He may not be as fast as he was but did you see him...250 and cut, that is scary. Ray's first series back when the Ravens had a short feild at their back he made vicious fill on an o-lineman and wrapped Rudi up at the line with one arm. That is what football is about, and the fact that you come on this forum and cut on that kind of heart just shows how ingnorant you are when it comes to football. Now I am not one to pass judgement so I will leave it at this and assume that you didn't think your post through and that you gave your opinion above in haste. That is my hope.

To our Raven's Fans keep hope because that Defense was lights out no matter how you look at it. I predict another number one ranking this year if they stay healthy, so Ray keeping fightin'.

Did anyone get a chance to see the pregame special on Ray Lewis and his new workout routine??? Awesome!! This dedication and hardwork is a perfect testiment as to why he is one of the greatest players of all time... and even if he is diminishing, a diminishing Ray Lewis is still better than 99% percent of the players in his position throughout the league! Tell Ray Lewis he is no longer a good player and he will roundhouse you before you can take one step to run for your life.

Ray is in the best shapes hes ever been in his life as he said in a quote in training camp. Ray was all over that field making tackles and stopping the run. He was faster, stronger, and more aggressive than hes been in a while. He will be a huge threat this year to opposing offenses. Oh and to bengals fan #1 , exactly how many bengals have been arrested and actually found guilty of their crimes? Exactly.

Agreed. CJ is a trip. On NFL Today they interviewed Ray and showed a clip of him taking out CJ. Ray didn't even remember the play. They then showed CJ on the side saying "I lost...bad". He is hilarious, and good for the game. Although, when he catches a 50+ yard TD, I hate him. But only for a moment. Good luck the rest of the way. And looks like Clevend wants to make this a division. I bet Pitt didn't expect to be sitting on top this early, huh?
