Cover Of '10?

Has anyone heard any news/rumors as to who is going to be on Madden '10? I haven't found much of anything so far.

EA Sports is keeping it tightly under-wraps this year, even more than they have in years past, after the Brett Favre fiasco last season. Traditionally, they've announced the cover athlete on draft weekend, but are pushing the announcement back, probably to build anticipation. Not only that, but the athlete is probably directly tied with a new gameplay feature that they're hoping to reveal at a much later date.

I think it should be Kurt Warner.. The guy had a terrific season despite his age.. I'd like to see him on the cover..

I think it is going to Larry Fitzgerald as well. The way he went on the post season tear, I think he deserves it. But maybe I have a better idea. To keep it a parity, maybe give the cover to the Super Bowl MVP. I think that sounds fair. Anyone agree? For future games I mean, I'm all for Fitzgerald for Madden 10, but give the Super Bowl MVP the cover starting in 2011. If the Super Bowl MVP was on the cover before, things would have looked different. This is a list of MVPs(and who would have been on the cover) through SB 35 through 43, thats 6 DIFFERENT teams in 9 years:

I agree with making it the Superbowl MVP. Seems fair and they earned it.

How about mixing it up and putting a guard or a tackle on the cover

we are all familiar with the madden curse right?

what about the superbowl curse.... basically the playmakers aren't the same after they lose the superbowl....


if it is true, than well, larry fitzgerald is in for one hell of a ride next year
