The Giants deserved to win, but I wouldn't call it anything remotely close to a butt kickin. It was one of those games that haunts you for a few days.
u know i'd almost rather lose embarrasingly than close, losing to indy i was frustrated but was like w/e same with NY, but our loss to pittsburgh in all 3 of the games.... or the loss to NE last year were very "painful" i guess you could say

I agree, it's somehow easier to lose big than the heartbreakers. As far as the NE loss, I was never so mad at a coach, and although probably had nothing to do with his firing, I was glad to see him go, especially after that stupid time out.

As far as the Titans/Steeler opener, go Titans.

Yeah, as far as that goes, I'd rather have put up a good fight than get smeared.

OT: funny fact, one of my son's favorite all time players is Cordell Stewart....

actually that was rex ryan who called the T/O and it was the correct call, he didn't want to give them the chance to make the first down, if the T/O wasn't called and they made the first down the coaching staff would have been GRILLED.... and i'm talking BBQ style lol

reason i'm glad is in the miami game, baltimore could have won it on the 2 pointer, and billick flipped, basically telling them not to question his judgement or w/e, in my perspective there you have to look at everyones position on a call, I mean that game right there could have led to troy smith being our starter (butterfly effect, I'm not saying he should start over flacco, just stating what one incident could have been done and see the change)
Davis has sued the league three times. Twice for issues involving relocating the Raiders winning one of them and a 19.6 million settlement from the league. And another suit for 22 random things such as the Bucs logo resembling the Raiders too much and the Bucs and Panthers uniforms using some of the same colors as the Raiders uniforms, which the Raiders lost.

Also, he testified AGAINST the NFL in anti-trust hearings in 1986.

He has vowed never to retire until the Raiders win two more Super Bowls or he dies of natural causes. Poor Raider Nation.........
 Al Davis sued the NFL because other teams want to wear black!

Ole Kordell. He could have been a great WR, but he thought knew everything. <_<
I liked him too, but boy could he break your heart.
