Nothing new, so far. As far as we know, Torry Holt is still on vacation, and the Ravens are still the front-runner to land Orlando Pace any day now; the Pace deal is up to the team moreso than Pace, because Pace is definitely onboard. The team just has to assess whether Pace is really worth it, and whether or not to stick with Willie Anderson or let him go.

That is a shame our starter becoming the LIONS backup. I'm sure he could fight for number 1 somewhere.

I kind of feel bad for big Willie if this is true and it happens. He played well for us last year, and seemed to be a great team guy. I know Pace is a good talent as well, but he has never played RT and I think big Willie would serve us better...

If he does in fact sign there, he would probably be the starter until they draft Matthew Stafford.. I would take Aaron Curry with the first pick and move up a few picks from 20 and take Josh Freeman.. Freeman is gonna be good..

Back on topic, how long is Holt going to be on vacation for? It seems like hes been wherever forever..

I really don't know how much of an upgrade Pace would be over Willie Anderson.

Has there been any news on Lorenzo Neal?

In this Article it talks about Pace.

Basically it says we are still considered the front runners for him and we have made the hardest push for him. Other than that, no news on him.

For however long he wants, 'cause he's TORRY-FREAKIN'-HOLT!...

...ok, no, not that serious, sorry.

But seriously, he said he's taking his time, so more power to him. I wouldn't be surprised if he were contemplating retirement as well. Either way, whatever happens, I'm cool with.

Just so long as he doesn't go to a divisional rival. Then I'd be pissed.

Now, now, don't start with that or else we could see the Browns turn into their 2007, 10-6 squad again. Or the Bengals turn into their old AFC North Championship-winning selves.

...well, maybe not so much the last one. -_-

I think that Willie did play pretty well last year, but there is no doubt that he wasn't in the best shape, plus he battled injuries. Bruce Cunningham personally saw Pace at the team facility last week and said he looked very good and in shape. If Pace can stay healthy, he would be a noticeable upgrade in the passing game vs. Willie.

NAH..... bound 2b a backup 4 life. hopefully He and Chris Redman can make it on a squad some day so they can relive how much they sucked for us.....better yet Elvis should throw a BBQ(hes the king of crappy ravens qb) for all 32 Ravens QBs so they can all converse this topic(Flacco and T.Smith, not invited)

Boller Played in Bilick's system with a horrable O-line and no reciever's. This is the same offense that turned a Pro-bowl QB into retireing EARLY. While Im glad He's gone, and Billick too, Boller will probally get a starting job, and may even become *gulp* consititant.

Flacco would not have got RotY award with Billick here.. ah yea now that I think about it. I can see why people diddnt mind Troy Smiths rookie stats, They was under Billick. So really they was great stat's for a QB under that system.
