Toomer

I haven't heard anyone talk about us going for him and I thought with nothing going on and the same repeating stories on the site, I should just throw this out there.

Toomer apparently a free agent (dont follow the Giants, mostly cuz I dislike them and they do not affect the Ravens) and he isnt a #1 WR so he wont cost a ton of money from what I guess.

What do you guys think?

im not a big fan of Toomer. I would rather see us go after a guy with more upside through the draft. Toomer plays soft IMO and is more of a possesion receiver and thats not what Joe needs. We need a burner, and Toomer doesnt fit that mold. I think he would be our #3, if not #4 WR next year (depending on the draft and williams) with very little left in the tank.

I thought I read somewhere that he's contemplating retirement. I'll post a link if I can find it, but I'm almost positive he won't play this upcoming season unless he somehow is lured back to the Giants.

This guy goes against every teams Philosophy..... Too old and little to none production. He is just a locker room guy. Back in the 80s maybe he started.

Past his prime. I absolutely believe we grab a WR in the first two rounds and call it a day.

I didn't even know he was a free agent. I hope the management doesn't even consider bringing him in. He can prolly still play for some team but stay away from Baltimore.
