Time To Clean House With Mcnair & Billick

16 posts in this topic

McNair you suck plain and simple. Billick I liked u ever since u got here, was one of few who was glad to see u get an extension. But your HORRENDOUS goal line play-calling tonight was the ABSOLUTE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! I mean come on Billick your on the 2yd line with 3 chances left and you THROW the ball???? WHY NOT pound it with McClain or McGahee or Musa Smith???? Then the possesion before that we have 4th and a INCH and you THROW????? Now even though we SCORED FAIR AND SQUARE, Why not QB sneak or FB handoff??????

I also would like to say that we got ABSOLUTELY ROBBED on 2 calls.

1. That interception that gave Cincy the possession on which they took the 27-20 lead CLEARLY HIT THE GROUND

2. In NO WAY did Todd Heap PASS INTERFERE if anything it was DEFENSIVE INTERFERENCE on Cincy!!!!!!!!!

Im also writing to ESPN and Las Vegas because i believe of a possible scandal happened tonight involving that ref. I mean how could you even call that on Heap???????? Everyone in that stadium knew it was a touchdown including Carson Palmer. All you had to do was look at his reaction to the replay of Heap scoring. Thats why the ref try to make it up with that bogus call on Cincy which gave us another oppurtunity to tie it. BUT that DOES NOT change the fact that YOU JUST TOOK OUR TOUCHDOWN away.

Anybody else think this???????

McNair: so much with being more comfortable with the offense. Ya, huh

You can only blame the offense line so much.....after that.....

blaim BILLICK!!!!

I've always supported Brian and his decisions, but this game in the 4th qtr.

totally left me........ well, let's just say my dogs didn't even notice me. F***, F***!!!!

Mcnair was 20 for 34 (59% comp) for 203 yards and one INT. Thats a pretty good line...doesnt suck. I thought the turnovers were the key factor, once we stopped turning the ball over we moved the ball down the field and scored. That heap TD was of course a TD but the refs blew the call. Youll hear this week the NFL announce that the call was blown, the ref will be reprimanded, but nothing anyone can do.

 I think that everyone had high hopes 4 the ravens, you know 1st monday night and all, but never the less besides pointing fingers, getting hype and all. Learn from the mistakes and move foreward to next game, in hopes only to get better and frown upon becoming worse.

guys, as awful as the offense was last night, and as bad and hurtful as this loss is, always remember to keep your heads up! the ravens are still goin all the way, and they will still win the big one when its all said and done! call me crazy, thats fine, but just keep on believin. don't let this loss get you so down, that after the first game, you start to loose faith in your team.

im tired of saying this. McNair was playing exceptionally well for someone under those conditions. He was INJURED in the first half with a GROIN INJURY which he PLAYED THROUGH and STILL POSTED DECENT NUMBERS. If any one person or group on this team has ANY of that games blame on their backs its the O-LINE for letting McNair get HIT SO DAMN MUCH. That was the point of having McNair: to keep him healthy. We cant keep him healthy if hes constantly under siege by a blitzing defense. Despite his injury, McNair made some great throws. Just imagine how much better we'll be as a team when our o-line gels and McNair has time to make better decisions and better passes. Don't count the Ravens out so soon, we got a hell of a team this year lets show some ******* support

the o-line allowed the defense to knock one ball outta mcnairs hands. forcing the fumble and the int.

mcgahee, NOT mcnair, dropped the handoff.

and i cant say i remember the other play that was blamed on mcnair.

But the fumble was given to McNair, on the handoff. Which was kinda his fault.

i saw the replay of that fumble, McGahee had the ball in his hands without bobbling, and then it slipped out. McNair's jsut taking it on his shoulders because in most cases that situation is the QBs fault.

Heap did push off, it was clearly visible on the replay and the next play was not a make up call, again it was clearly visible on the replay that it was defensive pass interference. The ravens then had 4 shots at the endzone, from inside the 5 yard line. You can't blame the ref, blame the poor play calling by Billick. I thought you guys were going to pound it in on the first try and take it to OT but Bilick's play calling was absurd to say the least :o . I kinda feel sorry for ravens fans for having such a numbscull for a coach. WHO-DEY

99% of the fans outside of Cincy who watched the game or sports show replays would disagree with that statement. It was a blatant bad call. You will see the league office admit it & apologize later this this week.
