when is the schedule for the upcoming season released?

It is usually released around the time of the NFL draft....late April.

the league has its annual meeting next weekend.

after that... parts of the schedule will start being released. like:

opening weekend games

thanksgiving games

etc.


the full schedule is typcially released around the 2nd week of April.

I'm not. I'm going to be nervous. Sure I think we could beat the Vikings, but I honestly believe if anybody on any team who could break our record for not allowing a 100 yrd rusher, its Adrian Peterson. I'm just hoping we get the Vikings later in the season. Do you guys think that the league will put the Steelers and Ravens on Opening Night? Sure we will have to travel to Pittsburgh, but it is possible. I like to see the Ravens open up the season with a Prime Time game (whether it be SNF, MNF or on Thursday Night against Pittsburgh.) I say we'll get at least 3 or 4 Prime Time games this season.

i bet we do get that pittsburgh game on opening night. The league loves the rivalry between us and Pittsburgh and would love to showcase it on opening night.

I'm pulling for us not to get that spot, I dont like opening the season on prime time.

I like opening with 1 o clock games on Sunday. The only time that I would like to play on opening night is as the defending Super Bowl Champs.

i dont want them to play the steelers in week 1 simply because that means it wont be a home game. last year was perfect. first game was at home, last game was at home. only thing that sucked was not getting a bye week... but that was a rare occurrence and unfortunate for everyone.

According to sirius u2 is having a concert at Fed ex during wk 1 . they only said they are playing there since M&T was booked already. basically they were hinting the ravens will prob be at home wk 1. i thought they would open against pittsburgh on the opening thurs.

I would love to see the Great Ravens "D" ( if they are still great this up comming year as they have been in the past due to some changes ) play aginst A. Peterson and the Vikes. I think that would be a great prime time national game to watch. The rushing phenom head to head with the Run stuffing "D".

actually, U2 is playing at FedEx September 29th. That's definitely past Week 1. That's more like Week 3 or 4.

Start by looking at the Orioles Schedule they don't play the same days at home I project Home games September 13th and 27th
and away Sept 20 and Oct 4th.

No prob. i mean if you look at the bulk of it, we still have Ngata to stuff the line along with the stout Gregg to disturb the backfield. We also got Ray Lewis back to make them tackles. not to mention, if we have either Tavares Gooden, Prescott Burgess, or Antwan Barnes playing scott's role of eating the blockers, then we should fare the same success vs the run.
