Billick Should Be Fired

37 posts in this topic

Personally no loss is easy to take. It sucks I get that, believe me I *really* get that. But it's not the end of the world either like some people are making it seem like. Again, the fact that they even had a chance to win the game considering how sloppy they played overall is remarkable in itself.

Review the film, learn from what you did and move on. Still a ton of season left and next time, you get them at your place. Make things even.

He wasn't that bad with PLAY CALLING until the END.

It just was when it came down to the WIRE he messed up a lot. He called a lot of bone HEADED plays..

I mean come on the ref screwed us out of a Todd Heap TD that should have tied the game with a minute and a half left in regulation.

Then in return they gave us that pass interference call, or push off call for a penalty to help us out because they knew damn well they did us WRONG on that Todd Heap play!!. So to be nice they gave us that offensive pass interference call.

Boller on first down gets in the game throws a nice! outside pass to my main MAN Mason. Then they our actually smart here and give the ball to my homey McGahee who runs it to the 2yard line!!.

And now it becomes 3rd and 2 on THE Bengals second yard line before hitting the end zone. BUT what do we do!?!?!? BOLLER STEPS BACK AND THROWS A pass to our FB=NO CATCH!!.

STRESS BEGINS NOW!! on EVERYONE. IT is now 4th and 2( I am sure we all are standing up biting our finger nails hoping McGahee pounds it in for only the 2 yards that he needs!! BUT NOOO what do we do again we throw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the FOOTBALL and this time like before no catch but it's also picked off what the heck!?!?!?!?

McGahee was paid way more then ENOUGH TO EXECUTE HIM IN THOSE LAST 2 PLAYS FOR ONLY A 2 YD RUN, not only does it make me mad but I love McGahee it probably gives him second thoughts about coming to baltimore which I hope he isn't thinking that because we all knew and I KNOW HE KNEW he would have made it in the end zone!! BUT Billick robbed McGahee of that TD for us!! which I am sure he wanted so bad to tie A big rivalry game as a new RAVEN & for the fans we all would have went into bezerk mode!!, and Billick let him down!!.

Like I said above BILLICK ROBBED US AS FANS, and our TEAM & of a WIN for once in CINCI and on MNF!!!!!!!! and we would have gotten the HORRID MONKEY OFF OUR BACK COURTESY of Mr. Billick, SO ALL OF YOU BILLICK FANS THINK TWICE I know it was only 1 game but that was a HUGE GAME!!.

Thank you Brian!! for what you did Monday for our TEAM!! wish you would get your lazy self on this MB and read my comment, heck maybe it will teach you a thing or two to on actually how to use McGahee more often .We didn't even fill up to the deal we told McGahee how he will be given the BALL A LOT and I mean A LOT. I am sure he is very dis-pleased with the whole thing he didn't even get ti break 100yds which he could have easult done so but wasn't handed the ball off enough McGahee wanted as many rush ATTEMPTS as possible.

We go out get a top 5 RB and we don't even USE HIM ON 3rd and 2!? or 4th and 2!? when the game is on the line the FIRST GAME OF THE REGULAR SEASON AND AGAINST OUR WORST RIVALRY TEAM IN MY OPINION.

I mean come on why the hell wouldn't you rush the ball only needing 2 freaking YARDS THATS WHAT GOT ME SO HEATED, sorry MODS. I think Billick should be demoted to our Offensive coach because he is usually a GOD at calling good offensive plays, and what he did Monday night def deserves a demotion point blank. He blew the game for us.. and our Offensive line fell apart let McNair take way to many hits..

I personally am still not over MONDAY & have not followed the Ravens since Monday night so I have no idea whats going on with McNair and his leg, and with Ray & his torn bicep. And if they will be out for next week and if so how many weeks do people think or did they say, or if they will be out at all. And I also heard Ed Reed may have sustained an injury as well if someone can update me I would apreciate it thanks!!.

I'm not gonna defend or bash what he did personally, he made the decisions and they didn't work. With your OL and McGahee, perhaps he should of ran the ball. Perhaps Cincinnati was lined up to stop it and it would of been unsuccessful? Maybe McGahee fumbles the ball? The point is, too many "perhaps" and "maybes" in all of that and bottom line, it didn't work.

As I said, if the play works he's a genius. So it's a 50/50 shot and it didn't work, it happens. Who knows why he chose the plays he did. All you can hope is that they learn from it and move on.

One last thing I want to add, I didn't see the end personally so if I'm wrong on this correct me... but it seems like nobody is putting any of this on Boller who maybe made a bad throw? Maybe it was a good throw? I don't honestly know just a thought.

Boller threw a TD pass to Heap that would have tied the game up, but thats when the Ref called Heap for Offensive pass interference, in which there was none and the commentators were baffled as well as the fans....

Boller didn't get much help from his recievers when he got put in. most of his passes were on target, but dropped. he did have a td pass to Heap but we were robbed the first time by P.I. the second time he tried for Heap sealed the game because it was on target, but he put a bit too much on it. Just a little over-zealous going for the touchdown cuz Heap had little to no time to react to the pass, so it bounced off his shoulders and into the hands of the defense.

I think this was a great game for the Ravens to have because now they will focus ever more on pulling out a win in week 2. if this game wasnt motivation enough then i dont know what is.

In my opinion, Troy Smith could've done a better job than Kyle Boller in tonights game...

kyle boller didnt do a horrible job...i meen he got it up feild and threw what should have been a touch down pass to todd heap...but yes after that BS penalty he did screw up but Brian shouldnt have put all that pressure on him. Brian should have let the next 3 downs go right to mcgahee or musa smith.

I got it ok thanks for all the responses. Well regardless, it sounds like Boller didn't do too bad of a job and unfortunately, there was the BS pass interference it seems. Regardless it's a tough break but again, only 1 week in and there's tons of season left. Half of the NFL teams are in the position as us so it can only go uphill from here.
