Game Day: Baltimore Ravens @ Cincinnati Bengals

This is it, Monday Night Football against a division rival. The Ravens have struggled against the Bengals recently, dropping four of the last five, but splitting the series last season. The Ravens look for tonight to be a statement game, while the Bengals are trying to put themselves on the map and establish themselves as a legitimate super bowl contender this year. Much like last year, the Ravens will start off on the road fired up and look to blow out the opposition.

Steve McNair has had a full year under the Brian Billick run offense and is now comfortable, though his age may show. Although the Ravens lost running back Jamal Lewis and defensive specialist Adalius Thomas, the backfield slot has been filled by a promising Willis McGahee, and Jarret Johnson fills in for Thomas. The number one defense returns almost all of its starters and looks to have a big game against an explosive offense. The Bengals have continued to have off the field run ins with the law but hope to put all that behind them this season. Carson Palmer has fully rehabilitated his knee and will be firing away to Chad Johnson, TJ, and others. The defense remains fairly weak, a gaping hole being left in their run defense.

Both teams are looking for a big game tonight, and Paul Brown Stadium will be rocking.
