The only time I heard about him was in a highlight video of a Cleveland game in 05.

After reading that I really doubt anybody would pursue him, he's 34, had surgery a year ago and he's just average. If you want my opinion on him regarding our vacant receiver spots I would say lets not even look in that direction.
baltimore should pick up every player released ..... <_<
especially if they're over 30. Someone closed my Keyshawn Johnson and Lynn Swann thread. Hey 56 is the new 36.

Yes! OMG! YES! Then we would go 19-0 and win the Super Bowl every year and have every single Pro Bowl slot filled by a Raven -- even on the NFC roster! OMG, that would be soooooooooooooooo awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

...but no, seriously, pass on Joe Jurevicius. ;)

I understand everyones sarcasm, but in no way I mentioned lets get him. Just like alot of you, I wonder if a player that gets released will be a good fit for us thats all! I just wanted you guy's thoughts  . I didn't want to put this on somebody else thread and then get a complaint about not being on topic! :)

If we needed a big, white, slow, injury prone, slot receiver at best...i'd say go for Drew Bennett over Joe. The guy had some good years at Tampa, won a SB there. Even had one of the best touchdown catches in recent history when he reached behind a guy and tipped the ball up, then spun to his other side and caught it on the other side of the guy in the end zone, youtube it, pretty good stuff. But that being said, it's about time for him to hang it up. If he goes anywhere it'll be the chiefs or somebody that is desperate for a WR, we need help, but we have enough already to not waste our time on him.

As opposed what? A big, ?, slow, injury prone, slot receiver at best....

Seriously, does it matter?

As opposed to a small, black, fast, never injured, (whatever the opposite of slot receiver is).

Or a medium sized, gray, average, injured once or twice player.

Or a huge, yellow, slightly above-average, injured 3 or 4 times player.

There was nothing wrong with what he said, you're making a deal out of nothing.

I simply said white because his younger exact match would be drew bennett. It had nothing to do with the actual race, just for the sake of comparison. I don't care if our entire team is black or white as long as they win

ravens need to look at any wr out there our wr tandem is amongst worst in nfl and w/o mason who is old we prob have the worst we need some1 to strecth the feild and can catch the long ball which is prob flaccos best pass but all we have is possesion guys who only run good short routes i just dont want 2 see flacco slowed up by average wr so we should look into everone that come up regardless of age n some of the top wr in the game today are old moss,owens,holt,harrison,galloway,etc....... im just saying we need to look at wr long n hard and vget it right before its too late cuz we all know how long it took to get a quality qb now lets not take that long wih wr is all im saying

As one of the most shockingly Caucasian men to ever walk the earth, I forgive all you slow white guy haters. You think it's easy being this pale and slow? Imagine walking across the parking lot while you're heading into Safeway (tm), and a car comes speeding around the corner, streaking right towards you while some 16 year old chick chats on her cell phone, not paying attention. You don't have the athletic ability or speed to get out of the way, all you can do is keep your feet and knees together, brace for impact and hope for the best.

Anyway, on a more serious note, he's got solid hands, but he seems to be made of glass since leaving Tampa, and even then he suffered through a lot of injuries. He's not going to find a particularly strong market out there, and I don't really see what he would bring to Baltimore that would make it worth a veteran's salary.

You might not be able to get out of the way, but you are easier to see because of the paleness.

...my sig was like this before i read this thread btw... i really should change it
