Patriots Suspected Of Spying.......again

NFL security confiscated a video camera and its tape from a New England Patriots employee on the team's sideline during Sunday's game against the Jets in a suspected spying incident, sources said.

The camera and its tape were placed in a sealed box and forwarded to the league office for investigation, the sources said.

"We don't have any comment," an NFL spokesman said Monday.

The Patriots' cameraman was suspected of aiming his camera at the Jets' defensive coaches who were sending signals to their unit on the field, the sources said. The league also is investigating some radio frequency issues that occurred during the game.

The league's competition committee could conduct a conference call about the incident, which violates NFL policy, and ultimately recommend a penalty that could cost the Patriots a future draft pick or picks if it verifies that the team was spying on the Jets.

"It's not their first time," a member of the committee, who did not wish to be identified, said.

Well they were accused last year too. That team is too talented to have to resort to cheating.

They were caught and fined by the NFL and lost their 1st rounder next year. Yesterday, on the NFL Today, Charley Casserly passed on a rumor that they may have been interfering with the coach-to-QB system that is used to call plays (their opponents have often had trouble calling plays against them due to static). If they're caught, Goodell will probably have even harsher penalties for them.

Adalius should have stayed with the Ravens. I'm sure he's embarrassed to be hanging around a bunch of cheaters, not to mention troublemakers (Randy "I only play when I feel like it" Moss).

yea i read somewhere that Goodell may put even more penalties on the Patriots pending there is more info and what not, so the pats COULD be in even more trouble than before and face MORE penalties(added onto the one's that Goodell already laid down)...like Goodell said " You've got to Hit them where it hurts"
