I Need Some Assistance...

I need someone to tell me how to complete hail Marys to a triple covered receiver and how to complete 5-8 yard crossing routes then break out of 4-6 tackles(bascially every CB and Safety on the field) en route to a 70 yard TD? ALso, how do you create a fumble on over 50% of runs? I just lost 42-17 to a dude whose record was 1-14.
It was the most ridiculous thing Ive ever witnessed. Im not that bad, my record was like 22-17. No matter how much coverage I had on his passing plays he would complete it every time, and every receiver was "untackleable"

He was the panthers, and I was playing with the steelers...

ok, on a serious note, how do you do the tackle where it shakes the screen and most often causes a fumble....happens to me all the time but I cant figure out how to do it when Im on defense...

I can't explain how you got torched on a Hail Mary pass (those almost never work, period), but I can guarantee that you got beat on the crossing routes and missed all those tackles because the other dude was abusing the hell out of the right analog stick.

On all versions of the game (minus the Wii, of course), the right analog stick (a/k/a the highlight stick/hit stick, depending on what side of the ball you're on) is unbelievably effectively on offense, almost as if EA Sports just wanted to show off their new animation system (same as when they introduced the flying helmets after a big hit...)

I find that the best way to beat cheap players is to attack, attack, attack. And when you're on offense, annoy the hell out of them by just pounding the rock and sustain drives for ridiculous amounts of time and finish with a TD. I guarantee, if you're playing a little kid, he'll disconnect or start whining about you being cheap -- and all you're doing is using real football strategy. lol.

Yeah, someone really annoyed me doing this as well. They'd use FB and QB runs back to back to back and get 5 yards every time. I tried to change up my defense but its like he knew what was coming.

And on the Hail Marys. After he burned me on the first one(I was in 3-4 cover3 and the outside receiver was single covered and pretty much running away from the CB from the snap)I changed my defense to dime cover 4, spotlighted the receiver he kept throwing to, and blitzed my linebacker on the other side, as well as controlling my MLB to track with the WR. So I had a corner, a safety, and a LB on him and he still managed to complete a 70 jump ball. Did it three times in a row b4 I got fed up. Of course when I tried to do the same thing I got picked by single coverage

I have much more success with the steelers than the Ravens. I guess Its just my handicap, Im not the greatest. Ive since found I play even better using the giants so i use them a lot now when I want to win. If I dont care then I'll use the Ravens, but I lose with them more often than not.

wanna learn how to throw hail mary's.

eagles pb-- gun spread y flex--verticals play

-put fastest wr at number 1 receiver on far left.
-smart route left slot wr
-curl and smart route the right slot wr
-drag route the far right wr
-snap the ball-i tend to roll slightly left if theres not heat coming from the outside.
-wait till the far left wr gets pass the secondary and bomb it too him.

only way for someone to stop it is for them to user control the deep safety and manually stop it, or to bring alot of heat and not let the play develope
