Controling My Mlb

6 posts in this topic

Hey guys, I was wondering if I could get some advice.

I've always been a really good defensive play caller. I guess you could say my defense is very similar to the Ravens. I create a lot of turnovers, and no team can run the ball against me. I recently made my own team, and made my own player as our cornerstone defensive player. I put him at my favorite position, Middle Linebacker.

If I let the computer control him, he breaks the Interception record, and leads the league in tackles, if I control him, he looks indecisive, and he always loses to blockers...

Could you guys help me? I would really like to play as him, it is more fun than to just watch.

Do you stick to your assignment when you control your MLB? Because if not, you'll get burned every time; the computer instinctively exploits whatever mistake you make with whatever player you control. That means, if your MLB is supposed to be in coverage and you send him on a blitz, the QB will dump off in that area 80% of the time.

Always play like a real MLB..5-6 yards off the ball..Dont over commit, if you do this just use the Safety..hold the strafe button cause thats what we do when the ball is snapped..read and react. Youll get better.
