I dunno, bum is a little harsh; I think he'd definitely be an upgrade over Frank Walker at nickel, but then again that's not saying much either...

Personally I think a 6th round project CB would be an upgrade over the human penalty machine Frank Walks-us-backwards.

[*]A fourth-year cornerback who has posted a team-high 31 special-teams tackles in a Denver uniform since his rookie season in 2005.
[*]Led Denver with seven tackles on punt coverage in 2006 and ranked second on the club with 12 overall stops on special teams for the season.
[*]Ranked second on the Broncos with 11 special-teams tackles as a rookie in 2005, registering at least a share of the special-teams tackles lead in five games.

Rumors where that he did look too great when he came to try out. He might have character issues

"A jury in Arapahoe County found Paymah to be guilty of DUI and Careless Driving in the case that was finally decided yesterday...Paymah could face discipline from the NFL as part of the Conduct Policy. I believe this was Paymah's first offense, and he has been 'clean' since so a stern warning could be the only punishment."

That could have also effected his mentality and lack of focus last year (he lost his spot to rookie Josh Bell).

How in the world are there actually Frank Walker supporters? I mean, Kyle Boller has earned more supporters than Frank Walker... and Kyle Boller hasn't done a whole lot. WATCH A GAME, PEOPLE! FRANK WALKER IS HORRIBLE!

Hmm...interesting. His primary value would obviously be as a dime/nickle corner and special teams player. I guess it would all depend upon his cost vs. contribution. I hadn't noticed any real glaring issues with the Ravens special teams, so he might not be worth it. If he can be had for cheap, though, and there's a roster spot projected to be available, he might be worth bringing in.

For some reason I have a feeling that the Ravens will be targeting a cornerback in the draft, so he might not be needed.

Try ignoring the 1st half of last season and focus on the 2nd half. He got much better as the season progressed and did a really good job down the stretch.
