What does Kurt signing have to do with Boldin? I believe it was Kurt clamoring for him, not the other way around.

Im partly just messing around, but deep down you know if Boldin gets a deal reworked (Fitz and Warner both said they'll throw some dough in to keep him) that he'll stay!

He's not going anywhere

The Cardinals are not going to meet Warners demands beyond his contract. For those who dont know Warner stipulated that he would take less money if the Cards resigned Boldin. But I do agree the Boldin talk needs to stop, he's already hit his peak and he's injury prone. He'd be an upgrade but it will probably only be two or three years before we are back to the drawing board. Lets just find a long term solution with whatever picks we would need to give up to get Boldin.

My deep down means nothing when talking about other peoples' decisions. You cannot assume anything, and I think you have heard the old adage about assuming things. You said if he gets a deal reworked..and that is the crux of my opinion..judging from what his comments have been, EVEN AFTER THEY WON THE NFC CHAMPIONSHIP nothing is written in stone, Kurt or no Kurt.

I agree - just posting that Warners a Cardinal still and that I believe Boldin will be too :)

The Cardinals do not have the money to resign Boldin.

They had about $45M at the beginning, sure, but they Franchised Karlos Dansby ($8M), and just gave Warner a $12M per year contract. That's $20M between TWO players and they still have 15-20 free agents left to resign...and they signed Keith Lewis to a 2 year contract not sure how much but you know it wasn't cheap.

After everything is all said and done when the cap space is getting tight and the draft nears, the Cardinals will be more than happy to take a 1st day draft pick for a guy who doesn't want to be there and is demanding a new contract. His value is at an all time high bcuz he's entering his prime. They need to get everything they can out of him b4 he becomes a free agent.

I was okay to end the Boldin talk before this happened.

Don't want that kind of guy on our team, really. He thinks he deserves Fitzgerald type money, and is perfectly okay with letting everyone know he isn't coming back to the team in a middle of a playoff run. Why would we want him here?

I agree, he doesnt get along with the organization and from what I hear AZ has a very good one. He reminds me of a T.O type..

Can you imagine how many Boldin threads there would be if he did that here? The Ray Lewis threads were bad enough; besides we don't need to start building Dallas the second.

The Kurt signing DOES say a lot about ole' Matt Leinhart, though... :D

The Ravens, having signed Birk, Ray & Foxworth, cannot afford Boldin...

The Arizona Cardinals have one of the worst owners in football. They are legendary for being bad :P .

If Boldin was to come and play in B-More, someone please tell me where the money will come from?
Ngata and Suggs are coming up for contracts.

Boldin is hella talented. But we won't be able to afford him. I think we're gonna need to roll those dice on a draft pick and hope we get a playmaker.

Meh, Warner said he would take a decrease in pay if it meant Boldin was going to come back. Obviously, that wasn't in the actual contract he signed.
