Steelers @ Browns

Actually, I think the Browns (aside from Winslow) might really be THAT bad.

Anderson was making some really good throws. He just couldn't get much help from some of his recievers or his defense

Anderson might of made some good throws but he also made some absolutely pathetic and **** poor ones too. I can't even count how many times he screwed up the slant pass to Braylon and Jurevicus. My game review:

1.) Frye for some reason decided he wanted to hold onto the ball all day and never make a throw and instead, take 5 sacks. Anderson while he made some good throws again, made some god awful ones.

2.) I was impressed with the OL overall, I know they had difficulty picking up the blitz which against Pittsburgh isn't uncommon for a lot of teams, but overall they gave the QBs ample time to make throws.

3.) I was disappointed with our OCs decision to abandon the run WAY too early. I understand it was 17-0 early but we clearly gave them that lead by having stupid mistakes. Anyone could also clearly see that early on, Pittsburgh was not in good form and we could of possibly gotten back into the game with efficient play calling. Jamal Lewis only getting 11 carry attempts is ridiculous.

4.) Despite what people think of him sometimes (and even myself), KW2 is a great TE and when the ball comes his way he makes plays, plain and simple.

5.) Frye and Anderson are what I've always considered "mediocre" QBs at best. They looked bad in the preseason and I chalked it up to just rust or a QB competition. I never thought it was possible but they both look completely lost and right now, worse than at any point last year. I'm not a fan of putting Quinn in early to start but if this awful QB play continues, I honestly wouldn't blame RAC and Savage for making that decision. When your top article on the Cleveland website goes, "Romeo Crennel has not named a starting QB for next week against Cincinnati," that's just simply put bad.

With all of that being said, I knew heading into the season it'd be nothing short of a very long one but man, this was one pitiful performance on everyone (except KW2). As far as Baltimore's game tomorrow obviously my optimal result would be a 3-3 tie. :P BUT, good luck to your team against the Bengals.

Browns played HORRID. I actually thought they were going to go into this game looking GREAT, like the turn around the Bungles had a few years back after being dead last all the time and getting spanked by us.

I just hope the Browns don't make our mistake and rush Quinn out there before he and the team are ready for a rookie. I'd hate to see another QB ruined in Cleveland.

Wow, the browns, i mean, wow. I really expected a little more from them. I just don't see much in the way of defensive impact players.

I thought they might suprise some teams this year, but after yesterday, not so sure.

I think the worst teams from yesterday were by far the Chiefs and the Browns..........

I hope the same with Quinn ultimately. I know everyone is calling for his NFL playing career to begin now and even fellow fans I watched the game with did, but seriously, it would not of helped matters at all. The team as a whole was bad, bad and awful. Some spots were worse than others but overall, just terrible.

As I mentioned before I don't expect a big season out of them and I didn't going into this season, but I certainly expected better than the spanking they got yesterday.

Honestly starting Quinn wouldn't of helped us win and it won't help our W-L record more than likely. The team as a whole did not come prepared for the most part although a majority of that *was* the QBs. Still if he came in and proved me wrong then by all means.. but I just don't think it's a good idea to throw him in right now. Next Browns opponets are: Bengals, Raiders, Ravens, Patriots and Dolphins. That is in one word brutal.
