Maybe the Ravens can resign Ivy, and trade him to Denver for Cutler! :D :D

Why Cutler? I'd rather have Brandon Marshall or Eddie Royal.

I'd also take Stokely back. I know the two can't really be compared but Stokely > Ivy.

Plus, we need a good slot receiver...

It's not like the Jets would steal players or something. Rex Ryan is above that. Oh wait....

Im just waiting for them to sign Boller. Do the Jets even have enough cap room to add Leonhard?

Leonhard is another guy who we knew was going to leave before the off-season began. Even if he gives us a chance to match, just remember that we have Landry, Haruki and Zbi waiting to easily replace him.

They can have him, then T.O. really can cry about not getting the ball all the time :P

He left the Jets facility without a contract.

Seems like Leonhard is overestimating his value IMO. He's an okay player, but certainly not the type you break the bank for. You could argue that he's a product of Ryan's system seeing as that he was nothing more than a special teamer prior to joining the Ravens last season.

I'm personally hoping that the Jets make a strong push for Sean Jones instead.

I too have been wondering if Bollers phone has been ringing and if so from who?

Other than crank callers :P

I stand by what I said before.
Boller is going to be a decent QB some where in the NFL.

After their recent signings, the Jets actually have around 15 million in payroll to play with still.

The initial reports of the Jets being in "Cap Hell" were greatly exaggerated. Mike Tannenbaum, is one of, if not the best capologist in the league and the Jets had cleared somewhere around 40 million in cap space since those reports came out before the start of Free Agency.

- Brett Favre retired (13 million savings)
- Restructured Laveranues Coles contract, allowing him to void the final (guaranteed) year of his contract to become a Free Agent (~6 million saved)
- Restructured Kerry Rhodes and Calvin Pace's contracts (~9 million saved)
- Released Brandon Moore (~7 million saved)
- Released Chris Baker, David Bowens, Brad Kassel (~5 million saved)

(It also helps when you get 2 golden parachutes tossed your way with Favre and Coles.)

They have plenty of room for Leonhard, if they so chose.

I thought they released Coles not restructured his contract.

The Broncos are pretty stupid. The main reason team gash them all day long is that they can't stop the run. Why? They have no good interior d-lineman. They may not have good safeties but as the Giants proved, it's better to have a good d-line than good safeties.

I think Ozzie made it pretty clear that Leonhard was not coming back. Frankly, I dont care where he ends up. In my mind he's already the enemy.
