They are somehow negotiating for Lito Sheppard now.... How do they have all this cap space?? ugh. Im going to love watching them get crushed with no QB and a mediocre D.

Jets are really getting on my nerves. They've been all over us since their regular season ended.

First Ryan now they're trying to take all of our FAs. Seems like the Jets are trying to be like us. They did the same thing while Mangini was HC. They tried to be like the Pats. Why don't they try and be the JETS and not other teams.
Ken Weinman just said earlier how the Jets are doing EVERYTHING but getting a QB.
Yep, they have Scott, Sheppard, probably Leonard next. Maybe in a few hours, they will take Kyle Boller. :D

LOL. That's what I'm thinking. Maybe Rex can take Kyle, but than again I want to see Kyle go to a team like the 49ers where I know he can win the starting job. Plus I'm still waiting for that trade between New England and Kansas City to happen. But you know guy........................ even though Boller is on the market............. dare I mention............. Rex could TRADE FOR TROY SMITH! :o JOKING. But to be realistic at this point, of free agency right now anything can and will happen.

Hey so I wrote an article on Bleacher Report:

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/131319-...ent_body_620834

Here's what this biased Jet fruitcake said:

and you are a purple biased raven fan fruitcup- a good day for the ravens? go smoke a crackpipe and maybe then you will be able to mutter some words that are even remotely true. losing your best linebacker and offensive lineman? losing your d coordinator who has made championship caliber defenses and who is raiding you of every future talent you ever had? a good offseason? A guess a bad day would be signing players who will replace the players you lost.. but the ravens just can't figure that one out.

I don't see how in the world Scott was our best LB and how we aren't a top five D if Ray returns. And I guess he doesn't know who Suggs, McClain, Ngata, Reed and everyone else on the defense are. What a moron.

Well, he does have a point....

We lost:

Rex Ryan
Bart Scott
Jason Brown
Chris McAlister

We signed:

D. Foxworth

We may still lose Ray Lewis too (although it's unlikely).

Things haven't exactly started off too well for us. But, the off season has just begun, we need to wait and see what happens over the next couple months before we can judge our offseason.

I don't understand how they are making all of these moves either, from what I understood, before Favre retired they were OVER the salary cap and then he retires and they cut a couple of no names and they have tons of cap space to be paying Bart 8 million a year and just guessing byt Lito's contract with the Eagles which carries over in the trade probably pays him 4-5 mil a year at least. I don't know how they are making these numbers work..

But did he seriously say Scott is our best LB? He's our 3rd!?!?! And did he seriously say the Ravens have no future defensively? The ******?

Of all 3 I wanted Scott gone, he is like Adalius Thomas, he's a product of OUR system, Ray is the only one we can't lose. BTW if were talking losses CMAC has technically been gone for 2 Years, and he was replaced Rex Ryan is like Nolan and Marvin again products produced by the ravens who will fail as a head coach, actually maybe not since he's taking our ex-player. Maybe he will try to trade for Jamal Lewis. Bart Scott is replaceable and we have many LB's finally Brown, he is th eonly player we've lost that counts negatively against us.

hope the ravens are not becoming like training ficility for other teams to come in and pluck players that have developed into stars. scott and brown will be a major blow to the ravens, and oh by the way RAY lewis looks like hes coming back, because no other team wants a 34 yr old LB, most teams are in a rebuilding mode, and PATS are not gonna sign him, because he's not gonna get the money hes asking for from them.

I wonder, when will evolution exterminate idiots from the world? You know, natural selection n all?

It speaks to how well the Ravens draft and develop players. Even though it sucks for us as fans to see players go away, we should be proud and flattered that other teams (and their fans) are so interested in stealing our talent.

And the fact that we keep plugging along and finding more talent just speaks volumes about the excellent job the personnel department does.

Here was my repsonse to his and then me again:

Me: I don't see how Scott is your best LB. He's our 3rd best, maybe behind Lewis and Suggs. At least Favre led you to the playoffs. Oh wait....

Him: Antwaan who? Jameel what? answer your question? Hooray you have Ed Reed. Oh wait a minute, wait, Jim Leonard was brought in last year for some reason.. a younger.. talented... safety? Hm, wonder why they brought him in oh smart one. I see you are very bright, like 3 sun's in one kind of bright, so you know this article is saying the moves here are improving the team. Do you believe that my purple faced pusscake?

and as for YOU isaac you ugly spook; Scott was the most promising LB you had. You know for the word prime you can find every letter in promise? Makes ya wonder.

Oh, spook, Ryan will be working the defensive schemes he is- are you ready? The H E A D coach meaning? He will be more invovled than ever and they don't have the talent that the Ravens do? He already has half your defense on their way over!

Anyway the Ravens and the Jets both suck, and its nice watching them blow money while sucking. Thats why one should appreciate the Buffalo Bills because they can suck, get the same record as these teams, and not spend anything near the amount. You know what you just made me a Bills fan thank you spooky.

Me: Matt thanks for attacking me on an article I'd like to check yours out soon - oh wait, you don't have any talent in writing! Sorry. And how the hell is Suggs and Lewis not better than Scott? Are you saying Scott's first ballot HOF'er. He's good, no doubt, but better than Lewis and Suggs? Ha! Yeah we should appreciate the Bills, they make us laugh, blowing 5-1 starts and countless Super Bowls. Good luck having a 7-9 season next year with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center.

DAMN hahaha, you murdered him with that line right there

I have some material for you if he still wants to talk trash.

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/redskinsi...ST2009022800147

Buffalo and Detroit had agreed to a trade Thursday with Detroit willing to pick up the rest of Dockery's 7-year, $49 million contract and to guarantee the 2009 and 2010 portions of that deal. However, the Bills failed to file the necessary paperwork with the NFL Management Council by the 4 p.m. dealine, according to a league source, and, rather than pay Dockery $4.5 million for this year, the Bills allowed him to become a free agent.

So they blew a free draftpick because of it.

Losing Brown hurt more than losing Bart. Bart can be replaced but I don't see any players on the team can anchor the line as well as Brown did last year. Jim Leonhard is a playmaker but Landry is a solid player and who's to say Zibikowski or Nakamura won't do better.
