Should The Ravens Sign Ronnie Bartell?

10 posts in this topic

Fox was a good signing, but we still need depth and are lacking a legit number 1 corner. Bartell from the Rams is a very good, versatile, young corner and signing him would give us three very good corners in Bartell, Fox, and Fabe. It can open up the D for us; we can rotate the three at starting, second, and nickel depending on the situation matching with the opposing offense.

What do you guys think?

Here are some of his numbers (but it's kinda a moot point as stats aren't a very good indicator for CBs)

Are you serious man? Dont doubt the Ravens front office. If they give a player big $$ it's for a reason. They are'nt stupid. They wouldn't over pay for someone just bcuz. They have the best eye in the biz when it comes to spotting talent. I think they know what a great player looks like when they see one

Ray Lewis
Todd Heap
Fabian Wahsington
Chris McAlsiter
Ed Reed
Terrel Suggs
Tryvor Pryce
Johnathan Ogden
Jamal Lewis
Jason Brown
Ben Grubbs
Bart Scott

Basically just look at any roster since 96. I could go on and on all day with this list. Point being...They know what they're doing!

Let's just say QB wasn't our strongest drafting point or Wide receiver.

Yea, but our boom-to-bust ratio is far lower than almost any other team in the NFL

We didn't exactly draft Boller we got stuck with him remember? Falcons or Broncos missed there draft pick and it messed up everything as Brian Leftwich went to the Jaguars. But the Ravens agreed to stick behing Boller

Just to clarify!
