What Is Going On?

So far this Free Agency period of 2009 has gone like no one else has forseen. Ray Lewis does not want to return to Baltimore, so the logical case is Bart Scott will be coming back, no he is expected to sign with the Jets. Also Jason Brown will be meeting with the Rams and Dolphins. The only person we are keeping out of this is Suggs because we gave him no choice.

On the upside we have cap space to spend on other free agents and trades. I think the Ravens need to make a splash if they lose all 3 top Free agents.

Foxworth is a good pick up but we need someone big time or atleast someone to fill the void like Johnathon Vilma or make a push to get Boldin.

Anyone else Befuddeled......

think of it this way there are a lot of teams out there with young linebackers that are holding it down we can and will move on whoever leaves we still got Ed Reed and the gang the falcon had a rookie start LB and they went to the playoffs. I love our players but if they dont want to be here well then thats just fine more money for use maybe we can get bodlin or coles how about Rey Mauluga we still have to draft plus comp picks so both old players we will miss bart the most cause he has waymore years in this league than Ray do.

Maybe our number 1 draft pick should be a ILB now? like Laurenitus? will Cushing be in the 20's? i don't know where everyone ranks in the draft now. Maybe we can wait another year.

Boldin should definetely be here after all this happens.
boldin would be a trade deal and the cowboys are also trying to trade roy williams. so yeah do we start thinking some offensive players
What exactly are we going to trade for them?

We NEED our picks this season, to fill holes. Unless we ship our Suggs... its doubtful a deal gets done. And with the loss of Ray and Bart, its highly unlikely we would ship our top LB.

The sad fact is we were so close last year. I'm not writing off this year, but you know what I mean.

I personally like Rey Maualuga better than Cushing, hopefully he'll be available but I doubt it.
We need to sign Dominique Foxworth quickly!

Funny how after the SB we dump a lot of talent...now after the AFC championship game, we dump more. I'm really wondering the logic, i hope it works out. We better sign some offensive forces in FA.. Otherwise, I don't think we can keep the same level at defense.

I have always went around supporting ozzie, saying "in ozzie we trust". But i no longer trust him. This team almost made the superbowl, with everyone back and a healthy roster a SB run was almost guaranteed. Instead he franchises Suggs 2 years in a row, the least valuable player of the 4 big free agents. He also cut our shutdown corner - which is understandable but with the rest of our losses its a big deal.

He has angered Ray so bad that he would rather retire than return to the Ravens. Our backup plan was Bart Scott, and he has signed with the Jets. The leader of our OL is about to sign with the Rams.

We don't even have replacements lined up for these guys, we will have to draft for years to ever get back players that can fill the void, just when we became a serious SB competitor.

Suggs isn't going to lead this team, hes boneheaded. He is the one who filed a grievance against us , he is the one who showed disloyalty by talking about Arizona, not showing up for training camp, and demanding to be the highest paid defensive player in the nfl just for 8 sacks. Guys like Bart Scott took paycuts for us and wanted to be a Raven more than anything. Ray Lewis is our most valuable player -EVER, enough said.

Rays my fav player, i love the Ravens cuz i love Ray. Next years team will not be the team i once loved.
