I know what you're saying too, and to a large extent agree with you. But honestly, we wouldn't need to bump the offer for Bart any; the $7M/year is very, very generous. He'll jump on that, don't worry. When money's this tight, I'd rather use that extra $1-$2M to try and keep J. Brown
Whoops. Stoopid me, believing Bart Scott would keep his word.
supposedly the only teams making moves on Ray is Denver, New York, and Dallas.

Jets have bigger cap concerns than we do and Dallas would have to go Jason crazy with the knife if they want to clear up enough room for Ray. But Denever  They have something like $40M + in available cap space...

If Denver steals Ray I swear to everything holy I will start up a Boycott Colorado Foundation. I will work night and day with my congressman to try and officially remove Colorado from the United States. I will start a civil war with Colorado if need be! Nothing but a bunch of hills anyway. %!#@ING Colorado!!
Dont forget Ravens fans are all over this country and being in Denver I dont want Ray here. This is Ray's fault he should have excepted the ******* offer and retired a Raven. This is exactly why everyones been flaming him for the past month. You have issues with Ray Lewis and the Ravens not Colorado.

Now look at what? the fact that he may come crawling back to us after basically not getting any offers elsewhere?
Umm "sherb" where do you think Ed Reed got his Film study habits from?? Ray instills a work ethic into all of these guys. He brings out the best out of every single player on this defense. Once they don't got Ray lighting the fire under them they lose their hunger, don't keep their bodies in the best of shape, and are IR'ed or cut (Weaver, Demps, Thomas, Baxter, etc). That's enough to keep him. Plus he's coming off a great season. Give him his money.

Oh and the Ravens stuck with Ray after the murder trial? They stuck with him because of his talent, not because they liked him. Talent gets you multiple chances (Pacman, Vick, Henry, etc), If Ray was some special teamer he'd be cut...
first off dont say pacman is talented i havent seen that at all i see an average player and yes if a player is going through a murder trial idc how talented he is u can still cut him cause of it cause no matter what it is its still just murder. i want ray to stay but like i said a billion times if hes asking some crazy amount of money that is overpaying and is gonna set us back cap wise. Hes not worth it idc about his leadership how much he pumps up the d i want a player that plays that position can ray still play yes but not for the amount that he wants if this was 5 years ago id be on ur side on the money side of things and now hes not getting offers from any1 why cause they want more than just a leader and some1 they can get more than 3 years out of

You know guys, I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but what I want to know is where are these offers that Ray Lewis thought he would get? So far to my knowledge, the Ravens have been the only one to offer him a contract. So Ray, you wanna come back yet?

Thats the funny part, he thought he was going to drum up all this interest so he didnt want to commit to a contract with the Ravens, now look at him. His stock is lower than thought it would be. I'm sure someone will sign him but not right now. Other teams are likely to put their teams together and add Ray at the end if theres room. He should have just signed with us; where he is supposed to be.

with the first day of free agency come and gone and citing an unknown source, One man in the league has remained quiet... that being Free Agent Lineback Ray Lewis, in his first public interview since becoming a Free Agent this year, Ray stressed that he has absolutely no idea where everyone is getting the idea that he wants out of baltimore and that he never wants to be back in the purple and black uniform. Lewis then went on to elaborate and set the record straight about all the so call "reports" about him and the Ravens.... "i have no idea where these false statements came from, but i can say that they're all false"... and later continued on saying that He is in fact open to a return to baltimore by all means.

Regarding Ware's Comments about him and the Dallas Star, he went on and said" thats false, have no idea where Ware is getting the information from but i certainly did not say or do any of what he has said"

He was probably just disappointed it wasn't him with the big paycheck.

No, it was because AD talked no stop trash about our D and the culture of egos and hierachy.

Maybe Ozzy and Harbaugh are still trying to build a better team atmosphere by letting all the "me" players go.
