Some of them actually think, he's going to be a cheap pick up for them. The Dolphins will run into the same problem that we are with Brown. We want him as a C but he wants G money.

Wow. I think this changes our draft plans completely. We've got to go offensive lineman in the first now. No way can we depend on Chris Chester starting again next season. Unless, we move Yanda to C, Terry to RG, and put off drafting a RT again by keeping Willie.

I dont know. I still think we go wr in the first or second. I think both of our first day picks will go on offense. And then maybe we look to free agency, with the money we would have used on Brown, to pick up a corner.

I really like the draft prospect CB's better than the FA CB's which is why I think we'll pick up a CB with our first pick. Maybe we could use the FA to pick up a Center instead since we let go of Brown and keep our 2nd round pick to a WR because by that time all the worthwhile centers/guards will be gone.

Season prediction: 12-4

I like this idea... and choose depending on the BPA between CB/WR in 1st 2 rounds. Then address the other needs in the later rounds.

Dude, analyze players before you start to disrespect then. Chris Chester was one of the most improved players on the roster last year. We invested a 2nd round pick in the guy and he underperformed under billick a little due to him being a little undersized. But Matsko did a great job with him and he proved to finally be worth the 2nd round pick. Chester played fantastic subbing in, he was playing so much better than Yanda. His pass protection was fantastic, immediately after Chester came in Joe Flacco starting leaning over to the right side near Chester and Anderson buying him countless seconds to take deep shots down field. Chester's run blocking needed some work but the that started to dramatically improve during the end of the season. Its hard to point things like this out but take a look at the Dallas game, Willis McGahee got a monster block to run a huge TD - a record breaking run. Guess who made the block - chester. If that wasn't enough - he made a great block AGAIN for McClain to run the same type of TD. Aside from a few penalties from Chester - i don't see where you get off saying "no way we can depend on Chris Chester starting again"
The problem is that we were not giving the guy enough playing time, he was a 2nd round pick for a reason. He just needed the NFL experience. In my eyes hes proven himself and it will be very sad if Yanda takes Chester's starting job back. We couldn't have him play RT because he was too slow and got beat outside easily and we thought he would be better at RG. But at RG Yanda is slow and moves like a rock, instead of opening holes he just sort of blocks the way. His pass protection was questionable and the guy received unearned praise imo because is progress in training camp didnt transfer onto the field. Yanda getting injured was a blessing in disguise imo. We are moving towards a more athletic OL and Yanda doesn't fit with the rest. He will make a good back up RT who could improve and take over for willie.

You keep saying he was a second round pick for a reason. He was about to be moved to TE for a reason to and its because he simply doesnt have the strenght to go toe to toe with the best D lineman in the league. His best matchup's come vs a LB, NOT a NT. If he goes back to C next season, I'd bet a million bucks we start having flash backs to 07 where Flynn was being tossed around like a red headed step child.
