Extension For Boller?

37 posts in this topic

REED this thread is about Kyle Boller not you, we have to do what is best for the team not you. I'm sorry you have heart problems but I don't think it is excusable to blame the possiblity of another heart attack on Kyle Boller. You can just as easily get overly excited to cause a heart attack. Try to limit the flaming and concentrate on the Ravens not yourself or others. I think resigning Kyle Boller for another year, not like twelve, was best for the team. I believe he has potential and I want to see what he is capable ofm I'm excited.

Boller Obviously has impressed everyone about his style and play thus far, other wise WHY would they re-sign him??? it is NOT about what the Fans think...its about what is best for this organization...not some fans oppinions what so ever....the Ravens Clearly think that Boller is the BEst Option to go with and last year he proved his worth. throwing for 5 TD's and his highest QB rating in his Career.....as he said in an interview "I Love it here in Baltimore, I'd Love to Stay here, I'd Love to Remain here for my Career"....Ozzie and The Staff obviously see potential in him and Boller has said that he's learned a heck of alot from McNair, so why NOT re-sign him?.....after all he is one of the Premier Back ups in the League...

Well, I'm a long term "hugger" but even I have to admit that Reed has a point. There have been a few times I thought Kyle was going to give ME a heart attack. Still, I like his heart and his arm. I have high hopes for the best. After all, isn't "high hopes" what being a fan is all about?

That is where you are wrong. For one all I said is I will not watch if Boller starts till he is gone. Then I get attacked by a 17 yr old and a Mod for it, when I simply was giving my opinion on the topic. And then I have reasons why I will not watch because I was so called a bandwagon fan which cracks me up, so I explained why I wont watch thats all. Ravens can do as they wish for the team like I said before, I will watch them play if he does well the 1-2 games i watch I will keep watching if he is the same Boller I am not going to waste my time.

Slick I am not even going to waste my time reading your posts just ignore you from now on, thank god for an iggy list.

Thank you Bird I agree 100%. I am just not happy yet like everyone else seems to be until I see him play a 2 or more FULL regular season games to "say he is a changed guy". Everyone is going off his pre-season playing against mainly second stringers, and 1 game against Carolina last year that he lost. Don't care about his stats he still LOST typical BOLLER right there!. And I wasn't all impressed. So I will act the same way I would as if he is the old Boller until he proves me wrong and thats how I feel so like it or ignore what I have to say and get on with it, I have my opinion you have your's.

BTW in my opinion also it was a dumb move signing him for only 1 more year.. McNair will be back next year and then the following year Bollers contract is up again.... so does that mean resign him again? sheeesh

...... i think hes got it now. well see if he steps in during the season(whitch would probably happen during the indy, NE, SD insanity)

I hope not...I think he could fill in for some out-of-the reach winning or losing situations but I would not like to see him play in center anytime soon. I would definately hate to see him begind center in the NE, SD insanity. Maybe vs the browns, 49ers, or something and that too in an emergency. He has his highs and lows. Hes really lacking that consistency. ( for all you Oriole fans out there you know what i mean when i say he reminds me of daniel cabrera <_< )

yeah i'd rather see Boller in a match that isn't as important as that horrid stretch towards the end. Boller has his inconsistencies but hey, another year will tell if being under a actual pro will improve him or not. if he does show improvements i look forward to seeing him under center in the future. if not, then we can drop him and see how it goes from there.
