2nd Round Steal

9 posts in this topic

The most versitale players in the draft IMO.

5-10 182 pound Junior out of Vanderbilt

D.J. brings some many things, excellent leaping ability, great hands and speed, and lots of intelligence on the field. He just brings a whole lot. He is not a one-dimensional player at all.

Natural athlete had played 6 different positions in college including QB,RB,WR,CB,LB, and S.

I believe he will fall to us in the 2nd round and can be something special in our DB group and Punt/Kick return game.

That's a great idea, the problem with it is, It takes 2 to trade. So some other team would have to be willing to trade back up in the first round. Sometimes that price is too much to pay.

I like the fact of trading down as i feel that this years draft is deep. If the Ravens trade with the right team they might just come away with 2 first round picks in 2010. Trading down will allow us to get much better value and more picks. You could see a tadem like A. Smith/K. Britt, S. Smith/H. Nicks, hell i wouldn't even be surprised to see Ozzie go CB with the first 2 picks.

if it happened i would be off-the-walls excited, but i highly doubt he'll drop to pick number 52.. he might not even be there for our first round pick

D.J. isn't going to drop to the 52nd pick. If the Ravens get a corner in the round 2, it will probably be Jarius Byrd or Cary Harris.
