My favorite line in the "wrestling is fake" argument is, you can't fake gravity. As simple as it sounded, that blew my mind when I first heard it because it made perfect sense. Sure, the outcomes are predetermined and half the moves (if not all, depending on the guys in the ring) are planned, but it doesn't mean the stuff doesn't hurt. Try taking a bump (falling down properly, then getting back up) multiple times on a canvas or floor, and see if you don't feel it the next morning. And those ropes DO hurt...

Exactly. Image how much some of the crazier stuff hurts, like jumping through ladders and table and such.

Dwayne Johnson a/k/a The Rock (because we're not supposed to call him The Rock anymore...lol) is on Saturday Night Live this weekend. I believe it's his third time hosting, so it should be a good one.

If Shawn Michaels beats Taker at mania I will stop watching WWE forever.

JTG is possibly the best all round wrestler, shame hes a jobber and has to carry Shad.

Legacy comes off incredibly gay. Change the slo-mo intro or music.

Im liking Mike Knox recently, the guy has great counters.

The Chris Jericho thing needs to run its course so he can get back to being himself on the mic. And he needs to stop wearing short trunks.

Batista should switch and come back as a monster heel.

Carlito Cool>Santino Morella

Umaga reminds me of Haloti Ngata.

1) They won't have HBK beat 'Taker. They'll probably have a false finish where it ends in a "draw" or something. There's a strong possibility that 'Taker will want to retire soon, so it might be feasible to have him retire this year, in his (real) home state of Texas, against a fellow Texan who is also "Mr. WrestleMania" and with whom he's had history.

2) JTG is good, but he doesn't have the storytelling ability in the ring to go along with his athleticism. If you'll notice, he gets through his spots too quickly and he doesn't seem to be able to carry a match by himself all that well with just one opponent.

3) I personally like what they're doing with The Legacy. It's a throwback to the Four Horsemen but without the flashiness. And it's turning Randy Orton into arguably the best heel in the business and giving Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase a decent push at the same time; before Legacy, Rhodes/DiBiase were vanilla, but now I could actually see them being decent singles talent.

4) Mike Knox has talent, but he needs a better persona than just a dude who beats up on smaller guys. He'll get real old, real fast.

5) Chris Jericho's work on the mic as of late has been the best he's ever done, IMO. He's showing legit acting skills, and he's drawing a lot of genuine heat from the crowd. I agree that the decision to switch to short trunks was stupid, but other than that, I like Jericho as a heel better than as the ultra-comedic babyface Y2J.

6) I'm hoping for a Batista heel turn soon, but it probably won't happen because of the lack of bankable babyfaces in the company. It's a financial decision more than a creative one.

7) I think Santino is the best comedic heel since the '80s WWF. Carlito was never as funny as Santino, and Santino plays the loveable loser role very well. His comedic skills are almost on-par with The Rock back in the day.

8) I can see Umaga's resemblance to Haloti Ngata too.

I think the Legacy image is far too soft, Orton is currently a one man army on the mic and is carrying Rhodes and Debiase (who have no personality and might as well be the vanilla twins) maybe they need to jump on the mic or build around their characters more. From what little I saw Rhodes was pretty decent.

That is also why I dont buy the Chris Jericho turn, it just doesnt fit his image. Just because hes brooding and sulking doesnt make him the least bit intimidating... Batista however, could be getting stale and would pull it off better IMO. Also I only see JTG and Knox as the best new wrestlers because they have stood out with timing and control in the ring.

Santino, well... hes pretty good on the mic for an ex MMA fighter.

Did I mention Chris Jercho looks funny in his new trunks?
