So my question is what is the date that tagging has to be done by, and when is free agency, i think its the 27th. also when should we expect to see cutting of players, before the 27 or then or after. also what are other key dates this offseason, thanks guys

I second this! .. I think the tagging has to be done by the 27th and I think free agency starts on March 1st.

The draft is the last weekend in April.

They can cut players when free agency begins I believe, and goes until the start of the regular season.

Deadline date to place the franchise tag I believe is 02/19/09, draft is at Spring Fest which is the 25th of April, FA I believe begins 02/27/09.
