30 posts in this topic

Ok, i come on to these boards like 10 times a day and every time i do, im just reminded of how boring this place is in the offseason. practically the only thing being talked about right now that i care about is Ray Lewis(please resign him!!!). So hopefully this will generate some interesting discussion. keep in mind that since we are barely into the offseason, a lot of these predictions will be just off of feelings that i have and may end up being WAY off.

A little early, but I like the Superbowl winner! haha we'll see what happens in free agency and the draft. I think that with our schedule that regular season record is attainable and we might even finish better but we'll see every year is different.

oh yeah defenitly me too. Im also excited for the World Baseball Classic. Go Cuba!! anyone who disagrees that Cuba plays the best baseball in the world doesnt know what they are talkin about. they came over here in 06 with ZERO major leaguers and whipped all of the pros that we have over here. even the stacked Dominican team. but to stay on topic.............GO Ravens!

Without Burriss that NFC champ game is way too close too call. Both front 4s are nasty, but the edge goes to the Vikings Id have to say. Both have good run games, but that runs right into both teams strengths. Unless Tavares Jackson is playing that game, its almost flip a coin.

only bad thing is you cant factor in underdog teams, teams that come out of now where....like the cards. on paper they should of lost bad to panthers and eagles but they were hot, no telling what that team could be this year

This is how i see it:

AFC playoff teams:
Ravens
Steleers
Texans (gonna shock people next season)
Titans
Patriots
Broncos

colts won't make it next season...new coaches etc.

NFC playoff teams:
Saints
eagles
49ers (they gonna make some noise)
cards
vikings
Giants or cowboys

I don't think the Giants will make it that far and will probably get a wildcard at best next season, just a hunch.

You have 17 teams with winning records, who are a total of 41 games over .500.
You have 8 teams with losing records, who are a total of 17 games under .500.

NFC North-Packers (had a lot of injuries on defense and will rebound this year)
NFC East-Giants (Unless Plaxico leaves I really don't see them losing the division)
NFC South-Falcons(Aints has been overrated since 06, Panties also overrated the media paper champions, Yucks an old team but may surprise a lot of people and us we need to fix our defense but best in the division)
NFC West- Seahawks (had a lot of injuries as a team and will be good again)

AFC North-Pittsburgh (still champs till somebody beat them)
AFC East- Patriots (Brady will be back)
AFC South- Colts ( Too much controversy on the qb position for Tennessee)
AFC West-Broncos ( They have a new head coach and could surprise)

I think Singletary will turn them around, plus the fact that the Cards will (I believe) be without Warner and/or Boldin. Seattle & St. Louis have some serious holes to fill.

Everybody in this division has a rough schedule next year - I don't think a wildcard comes out of the NFC West... not that it would have anyways... :P

What about the Eagles? Apart from the fact they finished so strongly, Dont they get 2 first round draft picks this yr? And are they getting that Iran WR from the Bengals? Could very well be there yr

having a lack of talent on their team has never been their biggest problem......they dont have team unity....the ravens and the steelers treat the team like a family....the eagles treat it like a job they go to every day.....you dont win championships that way
So does your 12-4 Ravens record include two losses to Pittsburgh? I'm sure the Browns 5-11 mark does. =]
NOOOOOOO!!!!!! i say we split next year..................Browns will most likely be swept.....again. no offence

oh i agree balance is a style......but i love our style better.....theres nothing like winning a game 13-10

its gritty and brutal......when a touchdown is scored its a huge deal

im not all into that 35-31 type of game

i just feel both teams sucked and neither played good ball
