Samari

Favorite / Least Favorite Ravens

27 posts in this topic

Favorite: Samari Rolle - I love almost all our guys, but Samari has always been one of my favorite players and I was thrilled when he ended up on the Ravens. He gives it his all every game despite having to deal with a lot and is a class act.

Least Favorite: Jarret Johnson - That penalty in the first game against Pitt was just unforgivable but I never really liked him, thought he was overrated, shouldn't really be a starter and is a weaker link on our D, and I heard from some fans that he's an a-hole off the field (not sure if it's true, can anyone confirm this?). Boller is close, but he seems like a nice guy and he still cheered on the team during this season despite being on IR so I can't hold that against him; Daren Stone is getting up there tho....

As far as former Ravens go....

Favorite: Steve McNair - He is the man

Least: Adalius Thomas - Just the way he left and his behavior was pretty classless; I always (and still kinda do) thought Jamal Lewis was a scumbag, but at least he acted with class with the Browns and when we cut him

Favorite to watch - Ray Lewis

Favorite who is underrated - Matt Stover (who has single handedly kept us winning in close to 20 games!)

Least favorite presently - Willis. I don't think we need him and I find his selfish attitude going into the playoffs a turnoff.

Former:

Most favorite - Shannon Sharp. Just entertaining.

Least favorite - Steve McNair. Never thought he was as good as he did and I will NEVER forgive him for laying down in the playoff game against the Colts! He lost that game!

Favorite- Le'Ron McClain. He's a beast in my opinion and a work horse. He's a good Running back.

Least Favorite- can't think of one right now! ^_^

Favorite: Joe Flacco. I like the way he is all about the game and does not sway to pressure and does not seem to get involved in the business side of
things. He is quite the gentleman.

Least favorite: McGahee...hes overrated and takes up to much cap room. With the emergence of McClain and Ray Rice we should trade him if we can.

Favorite: God's middle linebacker, Stover for those clutch wins,

Least Favorite: Jarret Johnson, maybe hes in the wrong position? I like his aggresive style but he doesnt get off blocks and is too slow for us.

Former Ravens

Favorite: JO, Goose :D, Shannon Sharpe, Boulware

Least favortie: Ed Hartwell, trash talking, back stabbing BUM. J.Lewis for the trash talk and putting Landry on IR.

Lawl@everyone putting down Willis McGahee as least favorite. I guess he hasn't really done anything for us since the AFC Championship game when he scored two touchdowns though. Oh wait.

Favorite: Ed Reed. He's a great guy, but he's not as showy as guys like Ray Ray and Suggs. He just is the best at what he does, and doesn't need to shout about it.

Least favorite: Darren Stone. I don't think he should be cut. I don't even dislike him. I just think he needs more discipline.

least favorite: Antwan Barnes. Why? Cuz he's dirty. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_vYB3walr4

My favorite player to watch is Derrick Mason because of his route running. His footwork is something all receivers should try to emulate.
I think Ray Rice will become an electrifying player to watch. We've some glimpses of consistent big play ability.
Jim Leonhard is awesome to watch, too. How can you not root for Rudy?
Even Sam Koch makes the punting game exciting.

Least favorite?
Heap. Only this past year, because most of the time it was just painful and mind-boggling. Stover early in the year when everything was missing badly.
Frank Walker because he has pretty good ability to stay tight with a man, BUT he makes penalty after penalty and doesn't know how to look back for the ball.
Wasted talent.

Least Offensive: Todd Heap(not all his fault . he add to block a lot this year but he still dropped a few clutch passes and a man of his status cant do that)

Least Defensive: idk prolly justin bannan ... had a chance to step up and take pressure off ngata and suggs

favourite: Ed Reed. What more can you say about the man that hasn't been said.
Then probably Bart Scott. So entertaining and so smash-mouth. Gotta love him.

Leat favourite: Tough one. I'll go with Cody. He just sits on IR every year collecting his paycheck.
Actually we released Cody. It's pretty hard to tell the difference. In that case I'll go with Dwan Edwards. He just has a little bit of an annoying face.

 That's messed up. If that's the case then Terrel Suggs must piss you the hell off.

I think Suggs' face is quite endearing. Like a donkey.

how can u sit there and say willis needs to be traded.. dude he has 5 years left. if we trade him we loose money no matter what.. and when he came in last year look what he did with a terrible offense. this year he has been dealing with many injurie, willis is a beast. and he will remain a raven.
ur ridiculous just saying this dont ever post again, look what he did against pitt. he did everything pretty much.
as for least favorite --- COREY IVY, EVAN OGLESBY, WE NEED good corners to backup fabian and samari, frank walker has done very well and hes very physical...

draft 1st round- heyward bey.. hes a sleeper
2nd round - dominque johnson - fastest corner 4.28 in 40

The thing people don't actually pay attention to is which type of CB we should be drafting. We don't need a speedy one. We get killed by slants. We need a shutdown corner.

So Malcom Jenkins, Sean Smith type over a Vontae Davis, D.J Moore type?

i know exactly what you mean. thats why i wasn't too excited about picking up fabian washington. speed is overrated. not that i have a problem with fabian now (he really proved his worth), but he cannot replace c-mac. c-mac could play a couple more seasons but we need a physical corner thats like him (hopefully that can learn under him for a couple seasons) and become a shutdown corner like c-mac. fabian is crazy fast, we can put him on really fast WRs and not worry about samari getting beat anymore, but fabian can't make tackles, he's just not big enough - luckily we have ed reed cleaning up tackles for him this year.
