2009 Schedule Guessing Game

7 posts in this topic

It's simple, look at the schedule for the 2009 season, and see if you can get your schedule as close to the real schedule as possible. Rules are simple:

- You Must post your 2009 Ravens Schedule that consists of, which games will be MNF, Thursday Night Football or Saturday Night Football, or SNF, and to help the Ravens GIVE THEM A BYE WEEK

- After you post the schedule look at it and based off your schedule determine the record for the Ravens.

- You have up until a week before the Schedule Release show in April to modify the schedule as much as you want. So here we go, I'll start off and Good Luck (Remember be realistic as possible and this is just for fun.)

Week 1- Ravens @ Steelers (Thursday Night Opener on NBC)

Week 2- Ravens vs. Broncos

Week 3- Ravens vs Bears

Week 4- Ravens @ Bengals

Week 5- Ravens vs Lions

Week 6- Ravens @ Raiders

Week 7- Ravens @ New England (Monday Night Football on ESPN)

Week 8- BYE WEEK

Week 9- Ravens @ Vikings

Week 10- Ravens @ Browns

Week 11- Ravens @ Packers

Week 12- Ravens vs Chiefs

Week 13- Ravens vs Steelers (Monday Night Football on ESPN)

Week 14- Ravens vs Browns

Week 15- Ravens @ Chargers

Week 16- Ravens vs Colts (Sunday Night Football)

Week 17- Ravens vs Bengals

Record: 12-4 AFC North Champions

I won't predict a precise schedule but I do see us getting a heavy dose of 415 games with a few primetime dates. I prefer going to the 1pm games myself.

I love the early games. It doesn't handicap me the rest of the day - not that watching a full day of football is a bad thing, per se - it just hacks off my wife that I can sit around for 9 hours doing nothing but drinking beer and watching TV.

Yeah, guessing the entire schedule is a waste of time. But the primetime games have been discussed in other threads.

My guesses were:

We play Pittsburgh at home on Monday Night Football.

And then we have two Sunday Night Football games:
At Minnesota
At New England
