True...

I read somewhere that, percentage-wise, the Steelers have more fans relative to the other teams in their sport than all but one or two franchises in all of professional sports...and they love to vote all their players for everything.

In other words, had there been a candidate for Air, ground, or rookie of the year for the steelers...they would have won that too.

Yea, and still pretty pointless

It was just nice he got some notice besides Matt Ryan for once.

He can have all the awards he wants this year... EXCEPT THE SUPER BOWL MVP. Because that is going to Antrelle Rolle for abusing Roethlisberger all day and helping the Cardinals keep the Lombardi Trophy out of the hands of those ugly Steelers.

Again, no award is meaningless or pointless. This is surprising coming from you guys. Aren't you "fans?" Nothing wrong with fans getting a chance to vote on a play of the year award.

I actually believe it has more value than the AP. You know those guys will biased towards those which with they have good media relations.

While Ed Reed had the most dominating end of the season run, James Harrison was dominating all season.

Baltimore players never get awards. I dont even know hoe Flacco won. We only care about Superbowls here in Baltimore.

That's okay, he can have it. We know that Ed Reed sets records and plays with passion. Because we all actually bother to watch him.

I am glad that Flacco won, though. As a Boston College fan, I like Matt Ryan, but he's no Joe.

Are you actually trying to suggest that the media are more biased towards players than fans?
