I went with Leonhard. He's a FA right now and we can't afford to keep him here with all the other young guys we have. Too expensive. Next i'd go with Nakamura and then Landry (Still injured, RFA this season...).

What?!?!?!? Leonhard was so reliable for us this year!! Not only as a defender but as a special teamer and return man! do you know what Landry did this year? Rode that bench and rested that spinal cord, and I'm not saying it's his fault or anything, but you can't be expecting him to be 100% by week 1 next season. We're gonna need Leanard.

Leonhard was awesome this season but he will ask for a "big" contract and right now we don't have the money to re-sign him. Plus we have excellent depth at safety, i'd like Zibby to win the starting job during training camp.

I think it will be a HUGE mistake if we don't re-sign Jimmy. The guy is NOT just a saftey. He's probablly one of the most versaitile players on the feild. He's been the best PR, he's played nickel, corner..he's pass rushed, he's had INT's.. He's doing big things and will only continue to get better.

Besides Biscotti has said he wants to do all he can to keep him, at the same time though I know the decision is up to Oz in the end.. so we'll see.

As much as I want Leonhard to remain a Raven... I really don't think were going to be able to sign him. And its not right to get rid of Landry after what he's done for us already. Jimmy stepped up big, but I can already see him in green with Rex, getting a good paycheck.

It's a big loss for us, but I'm glad he got to shine here and earn that money he will definitely get.

And it just doesnt make any sense to cut Zibby or Naka as their salaries are next to nothing... wait and let them develop, see how they pan out. I say keep throwin Zibby in for some returns.

It doesn't make sense to cut Zibby or Naka. They both played well this year and why would you even think of cutting Zibby at all since we took him in the 3rd round last year. That would be saying he failed without being given a chance. I hate to let Jim go, but I see him going to the Jets with Rex Ryan because they have a good relationship and he will be too expensive for us. Plus Rex really knows how to utilize Jim's talents. I hope Dwan comes back healthy next year because he is truly a talent and I just hopes he can make a full recovery. I think we will keep Zibby, Naka and Dwan in the end.

Getting rid of Leohnard makes the most sense, especially if another team over-values him and offers a contract that Ozzie doesn't think we can match. I think this will probably happen and can see him going to the Jets or a few other teams. The problem with Leohnard is that he wasn't big enough and it hurt the defense's ability to stop the run. He was good and versatile but will almost certainly command too much money, there's no point keeping five safeties, especially when two or three will be commanding large contacts, also I believe he only had one interception during the regular season and one during the playoffs.

Whoever said we should let go of Reed is stupid.

Landry may never be the same player again with his injury. Reed has a serious injury too but he has done nothing for the team to let him go. Nakamura and Zibikowski are good special teams players and provide great depth. Leonhard played very well, especially in the off-season and I hope they keep him.

Cut Reed???? Is this a joke???? He led the NFL in interceptions!!!!!!!!!!!! That would be the dumbest decision in the HISTORY of the NFL.

I said Landry, but I think is should be Nakamura when I think about it. Zibby seems to have more potential, and Leonhard was great. I can see the reasons for Leonhard as well....... I hate to lose any of these guys go because they are all great players, but , sadly I think Leonhard will get the short straw this offseason.

Naka almost caught an interception in the playoff against the Titans....I think playing with Ed Reed/time he will get better....

We didn't play the 49ers this year, so idk what you're talking about. Yes, he may not be at the same level he used to be, but I think with a hard hitting strong safety a la Landry or Zibby and with more depth at corner so when Rolle gets hurt Walker doesn't have to be out there except in nickel formations, that Reed would look a lot better. He may not be the quite the same hard hitter because of his injury, but if he can get some help in the secondary from the draft and rehabbing his injury I think he could play well again next year, he really came on in the second half of the season. If we cut him who would you replace him with? Just out of curiosity.

I think that we are quite thin at the corner position and it would be nice to add one in the first two rounds of the draft and maybe another one later if we get some extra picks from any trades.

It wouldnt let me vote for some reason, but I would say Leonhard. Dont get me wrong, I loved watching Jimmy play but by no means is he a better SS than Landry. Jimmy played well this year and will demand a few dollars this offseason and we just cant afford that.. we have bigger fish to fry (i.e. Suggs, Lewis, Scott, Brown, Landry) and we drafted two safeties last year for a reason. If you would keep Leonhard just for his PR/KR abilities, then that isnt very smart... we have other options like ray rice, zibby, and even figurs.. Unfortunately, i can see Jimmy leaving with Rex as a Jet and we all can only wish the best for him.. It was a fun ride, but get real. Landry is ligit. If only Jimmy could play CB...........

We have extremely good depth at safety, and to say Reed is bad because he got burnt on one play is insane. Dude has 9 picks this year, single handedly lifting this defense, and helping waaaay more then he hurt our team.

I certainly hope this is a joke, or at least sarcasm. If not, I feel for you
