Just to let you know, I made an Official Orioles thread for all of us to talk Orioles baseball on. I think Markakis has a big chance to become a big name in Baltimore for years to come like Ripken.

ummm yeah, Markakis has the second biggest contract in O's history, thats not paying? But I believe your talking about Tex, we offered him a load of money, but he is a sellout, I'm happy we didn't offer him a dime more. We are going back to the Oriole way and building through our farm system.

been rebuilding for years.....about 11 if memory serves. I was like you once...have faith they will turn it around, rebuilding phase, tejada cost a lot of money......all for naught! The blows stink to high hell and will be average at best for years to come. The Tex offering was nothing more than a show for the fans.

yea but now we have Macphail and he's callin the shots now(i think), and i believe he knows what he's doing and he's goin to turn this thing around
