how is he saying Flacco got worse in the playoffs when this comment was made before the Pittsburgh game. He didnt throw anypicks until then. I guess after watching that ONE GAME they'll drop him to a 68

82 is reasonable....flacco doesnt throw the ball that much and he hasnt really had any impressive games, he makes throws that are crazy hard and has great poise, but doing that is enough, kinda sucks since we are a run first team, if we had the running game the falcons have we could throw the ball alot more

This is exactly what I was about to say. Matt Ryan has ONE total TD more then Flacco and 3 less turnovers and he's rated 7 points higher. I've always felt that Madden ratings were based more on popularity and draft positon, then it is on actual performance. And this all but confirms that they dont watch the games but rather they just look at the stat line.

yeah fabian took over for c-mac and is only a 79

I see Flacco being more of an 85.. I take matters into my own hands and edit him to an 85.. I also bring Matt Ryan down to an 85 also.. He played too easy of a schedule to have a rating that high..

Fabian also needs some work too.. He stepped up big this year.. Fabian i see being an 83-85 cornerback instead of a 79..

Madden ratings are a joke anyway.

Joe should be in the 85-89 range.

It's a delicate balance. They need to give him throwing attributes, awareness and also running skills but keep him at an honest level. No rookie is a 90 at QB. They should come up with more attributes for a couple of positions so to make it more of an accurate assessment.

Also and again, Flacco was never asked to "win" any games this year. That said and based on his excellent rookie performance, I think 79-82 is very fair (provided it reflects ALL his attributes).

I'm not sure what you're asking here. I always go upgrade/downgrade players if I think they need it. I never adjusted Flacco, but I have adjusted opponents favorably before. I like it to be as realistic and competative as possible....win or lose.

when he was on the raiders he was an 89 and you know oakland hide fools

Flacco is a mid 80s type player. He's intelligent and has a strong arm.
