If they have the money to sign him, I WANT THE NFL TO MAKE AN INVESTIGATION OF THE COWBOY'S CAP SPACE...

Alright, Roy williams got a big deal, so has Ken Hamlin, Zach Thomas, MB3, T-New, TO, their RT (forgot his name)
plus Tony Romo, Leonard Davis, the other OL, Etc.
No way possible

plus they are already in the negatives in cap space right now
I doubt Ray would go to the Cowgirls for money over the Ravens
^ I agree. I doubt Ray would go to Dallas. He seems to be very loyal to the Baltimore Ravens. I think he still really enjoys being where he is now.

You guys are half right.

Ray doesn't care about the money, that's true.

But he's been loyal to the Ravens for a long time, probably too long. Don't be surprised if he goes somewhere that looks like they actually want to score on offense. I expect both him and Suggs are leaving the Ravens this offseason, and I can only blame the offense for that.

I don't think Ray would leave, especially for a team like the Cowgirls. He has made indications in the past that he wants to retire a Raven.

I'm sorry but if Ray becomes a Cowboy, I'm selling everything I own associated with #52. Actually I'm not sure if there is a team in the NFL that I could stomach seeing Ray play for. But the Cowboys? I'd probably get physically sick. Probably just as much as if he were to become a Steeler.

I know its the nature of the business and I'm sure there were plenty of Titans fans who were sick to see McNair in a Ravens uniform but I just can't see the guy go. It makes me sick to think about it. Anyone else on this team can go. Ray needs to stay.

ray wouldnt go to dalls, we have more of a chacne to win a SB than they do and hes be a babysitter over there rather than a leader because heaps of there guys get into trouble

You know what, if he WANTS to leave, let him. We have a bunch of talented guys. The biggest thing that we'd lose, is a leader. Who would do the pre-game pep talks? Scott, Reed, Suggz? IDK, but if we figure that out, we're good.

Okay, you have to admit, the Pro Bowl is a bunch of BS. <_< Come on, you get a SB MVP and 4+ PBs, its pretty much you're getting in one way, or another. :P

actually if the cowboys released To there cap would be crushed due to his bonuses, and they wont to resign Ware so i dont see this happening either way

Ray with any other team is unthinkable. Ray is the heart and soul of this team. I would have serious doubts about how Bisciotti values the loyalty of the fans in the future. I believe in Bisciotti's commitment to the city.

It always boils down to a business decision they say. They really better think this one out!!

I know. I want to keep him, but if he's demanding top 5 LB money, or anything like that, bye bye Ray Ray. Bart Scott is an unsung hero. He has taken so many paycuts when we ask him to so we have enough CAP Room. If we asked him for one right now, he'd take it. He LOVES playing on this team.

They already have a great lb in Demarcus Ware,so why would they want to spend all the money on lewis? They need to find another wr and possibly quaterback to replace turnover tony.

No Cowboys plat the 3-4 and Ware is and OLB,
NExt year theyll have Ware - Burnett - James - Spencer
with Carpenter and Eliis as depth, theyll cut Thomas BTW

so Ray Lewis wont go to dallas, someone said this on another website and i like it

The Ravens without Ray Lewis is like Macaroni without Cheese

I agree 100%. I heard this on the Scott/Anita show today. Her comments latley have been making me SICK. But this.. just threw me over the top. I seriously felt nauseous and turned the T.V off. The Ravens without Ray just doesnt seem like the Ravens to me. HE IS THIS ORGANIZATION. He's worth the money because of his motivation, he deserves to retire in purple and black like J.O!!!!

If he's getting paid to be a motivator, then he should retire, and be hired as their motivational coach. He can make his 4 mil w/out affecting the cap salary.

160 total tackles for the season. He lead the team by 50+ tackles to Suggs who recorded 104. He's worth keeping around.

You know its nice to see a fan in another town rooting for the Ravens. But you don't live here so you don't know what a guy like Ray means to the people of this city. You have no idea the intensity and energy he brings to the stadium on gameday when he is introduced.

Sometimes it's more than football. Come to Baltimore and see how many #52 jerseys you see walking around on gameday. This city loves having Ray Lewis here and there is no other team we want him to play for. This is where he should retire. Keeping the leading tackler on this team is not going to hurt our future. Ozzie is a genious and will make sure that this team keeps getting quality players all while managing the cap.

Not to mention, there will be no cap in 2010 if a new labor agreement isn't reached. Not to mention a player strike that could arise from this as well.

For as stable as the NFL is right now, the future is very shaky at the moment. After 2009 the road is going to get bumpy!

I wouldn't want Ray to leave but in today's NFL, anything is possible.

Also, just because a tea is interested doesn't necessarily mean anything will pan out. Like someone already said, the Cowpukes are in serious cap hell right now.

Between Romo - TO- and Williams alone they have extended themselves quite far.

They're desperate to get some sort of stability on that team. But with the way their offense played this year, especially against talented defenses, why would you want to go to Dallas?

Take away T.O. (which there are rumors that he won't be in Dallas much longer) and Romo is in BIG TROUBLE! T.O. may not have had the flashy numbers this year but T.O. just being on the field commands respect from the secondary which opens up options for Romo.

Look what happened to Eli after Burress shot himself in the leg.

The Cowboys are an over-hyped toxic team and players would be wise to stay away for a while. I also think Romo is over rated. He always fails in big games.

It is my understanding though and I think throughout much of the league that Suggs and Lewis will be resigned leaving Bart Scott as the odd man out. I don't know why any team would let Ray Lewis get away. The guy is just a beast and I think he ha a good relationship in Baltimore. He just shouldn't open anymore restaurants. lol./

I was hoping the Bills would make a move and get him. I doubt it though, they are too stupid and cheap.
