Well, I think the worst time to give your OC lip is the time your wide recieveing partner is making you look utterly expendable.

Wait, make that Well, I think the worst time to give you OC is the time your wide recieveing partner is making you look utterly expendable, 2 weeks before the superbowl.

As hypocritical as it sounds, I'd still take him. He's one of my favorite players, and he hadn't shown many signs of being a malcontent in the past, so maybe there may be something more to this than we know.

I'm a fan of anyone who has plates holding their face together and still runs across the middle knowing he will get lit up.

I think that what happened at the end of the game was just the culmination of everything that Boldin has gone through throughout the season.

Consider it, first Fitzgerald gets his payday while Boldin is told to deal with it when he has produced comparable numbers to Larry in recent years, but besides some off-season issues doesn't cause a fuss; he gets knocked out in the middle of the season and hurries back to help his team and then still finishes with great numbers, and then on the even when the Cardinals are going to reach the Super Bowl for the first time in team history he gets pulled in favor of a player that many people believe could replace him as the No. 2 WR in Arizona. Now you go through all that at tell me you wouldn't be a little peeved at getting pulled.

The only thing I would admit in favor of the coaches in this would be they wanted him to rest his injuries from the previous week, but then I would think they should have made some kind of allowance to let him be on the field for the last play or something as a show a thanks for the sacrifice he's made for his team.

All that being said, if this "issue" makes it cheaper for the Ravens to somehow get Boldin if they don't get a guy they like in the Draft or FA then I'm all for it. ;)

Unless we can trade for him, he isn't coming to Baltimore. He still has one more year on his contract and Arizona is not going to release him.
