Not a bad pick in and of itself but dammit don't we have enough DL?

Just lost jernigan man. And we show 4-3 fronts often

So, apparently Wormley was really highly regarded amongst scouts as a 2nd round prospect.

Miller had him at 38 and NFL.com had him as a solid second rounder.

Seems to be really strong value and a good fit at 5T

You're right. Just projecting my frustration about lack of offensive line

Yea I didn't get the hate for the pick.

Hes been a very productive interior pass rusher with strength to anchor and shed against the run. Will prob compete for that 5T spot in base but his value is his ability to kick inside in sub packages and still excel at rushing the passer.

I don't know that either Kaufusi or Urban is built for that.

I thought he was a 2nd round value though I would have hated if we took him there. But, getting him in the 3rd - I'm happy with it.

Not ecstatic or anything but it's a solid pick.

I think we really wanted Dawkins, Elflein or Taywan Taylor. Godwin was maybe the one guy I would've really preferred over Wormley... but I'll live.

Jordan Morgan or Dorian Johnson are my guess for our 4th round pick.

It's coming. Jordan Morgan. Under the radar diamond. Going to be the next Jahri Evans.

Besides I think we're signing Mangold. So it's really only 1 position (LG or RT) and I think they really like De'Ondre Wesley.

It's more the overall investment into the DL for me, with nothing special to show for it.  So many high picks and Brandon Williams is the only good player we have to this point.  For me, it's not as much against Wormley as much as it is out investment in the DL as a whole.

Wesley's butt is too small. Mangold is too old. Flacco's gonna get killed again.

Does Wormley have effort concerns? I'm not positive, but I thought people had mentioned something like that in the draft section. Or maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

McDowell, Brantley and I think Montravious Adams had that knock but can't say I've heard that about Wormley.

Hmm, maybe I confused Wormley with McDowell. I just felt like there was a reason that we shouldn't draft him. But whatever, welcome to Baltimore Chris Wormley.

I could be mistake Adams. Maybe it was Vanderdoes.

guys like @JoeyFlex5 had him as a 4th round talent (and i find it hard to disagree although ill delve back into the tape again of course now) which is probably some of the reason you might be down on him by osmosis but im not aware of any effort or attitude issues...

vanderdoes had some significant injury issues which might be it - adams i thought was pretty clean throughout the process though to give him his due

That's probably why. I'll give him a chance to prove that he is worth the pick.

I would have killed this pick in the 2nd like Charlie Campbell suggested, and I'm still not ecstatic about it in the 3rd but getting Tim Williams at 78 makes me feel a lot kinder towards this pick
