Yeah 3 games is not enough to really see who he is as a player. The Memphis game they had him just setting the edge and Covering Backs and TE's. The other two Cincinnati and  Louisville you see the potential what he could be as a pass rusher he was all over Lamar Jackson in that game. I see Hassan Reddick in him  but not as Polish as hassan as a pass rusher but he covers better than hassan does now.

I decided to watch full games. He was hsed in coverage so much it got annoying....and thats not a bad thing.

I read a lot of analysts say lack of production was a problem but in my eyes it was because Houston used him in coverage way too often. Its a miracle he got those sacks given his limited opportunities.

When in coverage he rarely was targeted and if he was, he was typically in good position.

I watched the 2015 bowl game vs FSU because i heard Daniel Jeremiah say he "ran with cook stride for stride 45 yards down the feild" so i had to check it out

Theres proof....he said he did it.

Now i watch the game film and IT NEVER HAPPENED!!!!! Cook never even had a carry pass 8 yards in the entire game! He had a 20 or so yard reception and Bowser was on the complete other side of the feild.

FYI GUYS!!! sorry to post this in this thread. I just really wanted to call out Daniel Jeremiah for being a LIAR!!!

Thanks you for posting this.  I'm so psyched and I'm not sure which of our picks in the first three rounds is going to be the best.  I believe Williams, Bowser and Humphrey has an excellent chance to be a stud and I went back and watched more tape on Wormley and feel he will fit well as a 5 t in the Ravens system with the ability to move inside in nickel.

i believe all of the 2nd and 3rd rounders will have a significant role in our defense.  It wouldn't surprise me if Williams starts this year in Dumervilles spot day 1.

How may days for the season to start....

I think Williams and Wormley are day 1 starters whereas Humphrey and Bowser will probably see the field on packages while they learn to maximize their potential. Williams and Wormley are very pro ready while Humphrey and Bowser are more potential at this point but they both have a very exciting skillset and they should see the field because if they're used according to their skillset they should be impact players. Put Humphrey in zone coverage and he's going to have a Peters like impact on this defense, put Bowser as the coverage backer and you say goodbye to Bell, Eifert, Njoku, Bernard, etc...

Von Miller is 6'3" and 250 now. So, my feeling is just as a matter of course under Saunders, he'll put in 5-6 pounds over the course of the year and get stronger perhaps. Based on the 'science' video I say he is supposed to have legs the size of Arik Armstead of SF who is a 6'7" giant! So that's where he gets his explosion I suppose.

Good point, you can obviously get stronger without adding unnecessary weight. I'm excited about our new strength/performance coach. He seems more "sensible" and innovative than Bob Rogucki was.

Mentioned this already but his weight is not an issue at all. He played last season at 252/253 lbs.

That's 115kg of quick twich muscle

Alright, guess that's settled then. Let's go pre-season!

Browser in McPhee role,

judon / zadarius in upshaw role,

Tim will in doom role?

McPhee was an excellent rusher and not much of a coverage guy, and putting Judon in the upshaw role is really selling short his pass rush ability which is probably his best asset. They're similar in that they play with strong heavy hands and get physical, but Judon has much better first step, closing speed, and bend.

If we wanna use past ravens, I'd say bowser is a Jamie sharper role, Judon is waiting to step in for Suggs as the guy who brings a smart and physical approach to the pass rush while being an A1 run defender, Tim Williams I'd say you're correct that he's a doom/boulware role bringing an outside speed rush from LB and DE.

A.Thomas probably a good comp as well for bowser.

I read that 'hmmmmm' with Voch Lombardi's voice :D:D

I like Brett Colman better and I think Voch tends to overhype some traits at times. But the guy's too fun.

I think he must have said something like this when watching the play: "hmmmmm man! Ohoho Look at that naaaasty spin ...riiiight there (brings it back 2-3 seconds to replay it)..riiight there. One, two three steps.. And booom.. Look..look at that man.. That's craaaayz man. I feel the payn for the right tackle man."

DUDE I love Voch lol his Zay Jones tape gives me every time when he high fives his teammate as he is crossing the field. He replayed it for a solid 2 and a half minutes talking about how cool and swag it was. I was DYING.

Just heard on 105.7 The Fan interview Tim Williams and he sounds really knowledgeable here on stuff. Pretty excited for him to get started.  He also confirmed he's going to wear 56

Is it considered a bold prediction to say Tim Williams will have a better rookie year than Myles Garrett?

not really.

he is on a better team with better players so he should be able to be in the position to make more plays.

id could see garrett facing double teams a lot more then williams and with their secondary he might not even have enough time to get close to the QB lol

Given one was selected #1 overall and the other selected in the 3rd round - I'd say yes. If Garrett plays to expectation and their production is even near comparable, the Williams will probably be the steal of the draft.

Will we ever know why he does the things he does? I was so confused and I literally started crying it was so funny.

I may be in the minority here, but I think Garrett is vastly overrated, as a projection he is elite, but as a rookie I don't think he is the world beater he's made out to be right now. Plus tru makes a great point, his job will be much harder.

Williams will have fresher legs and I actually think he disengages better than Garrett, his spin move is about the most impressive pass rush move in this whole draft aside from barnetts dip and bend.

As one of the biggest fans of Myles Garrett here, I'd agree he's overrated. I just love the guy as a person. He's also a Hell of a football player. That said, I think Tim Williams is in a better spot to succeed than Garrett because the Browns have guys but Garrett has a lot to do there. One player can have a huge impact though just like Watt did. The thing with Garrett is he also has his issues and areas to improve and I'm not confident in Cleveland to get him there

Not at all. I always thought Williams was the best pure rusher in the draft and thats all he'll be asked to do here. I see an 8+ sack season for Tim

I won't say Myles Garrett is the most overrated in X years. BUT... of all the super hyped prospects that actually were gonna become great players, Garrett seemed to be more overhyped than most.

I think Barnett is the best pass rusher but he's also a 3 down defender. Williams is hands down the best speed rusher and really Garrett is just the biggest freak.

I'd rather link Harris to the spin move, as his comes with better timing (nothing that can't be improved).

What I think William does already better than anyone in the class, though, is countering (something that we know Takk and even my boy Laws were missing). He's a really natural and explosive pass rusher. We can only hope he'll manage to keep himself clean at this point.

Garrett is a better version of Clowney.  Clowney received a lot more hype but wasn't as good of a prospect in my opinion. I never liked his work ethic and always questioned it.
