After all the anticipation and announcements made to draft "PLAYMAKERS" and the money we spend scouting players and evaluating talent, we seem to always find the Matt Elams of the world, I think "safe pick" must resonate instead of finding difference makers with our front office these days, just keep getting the same ol same ol guys, and at best 8-8, this pick speaks of mediocracy.

Not to mention Jordan Matthews is a downgrade.

Only if you can find a team that will give a pick so these two can announce retirement in that team's city

Considering they took Clark, it makes me start to think they might have plans to trade for a WR, or sign Boldin or Gordon. I wouldn't consider him BPA at all, plus a backup safety isn't a need as much as WR is. Maybe trade back in and pick one up, otherwise I don't see from what perspective Clark should have been taken in place of someone like Ford. Even from the depth perspective, WR is more lacking.

On another note, I'm very glad the Steelers took Josh Dobbs. I hope he is Bens predecessor. He's terrible.

How about a center? For starters, a tackle? A small speedy guy to return kicks or punts with upside? A wide receiver?

I used to be Chuck Clark's Pop Warner flag football coach.  I've very close to his dad.  I just spoke with his dad.  So proud of that young man.

So they say chuck clark is a small safety and slow....hes 6'0 208 and runs a 4.54 that doesnt match the description
