Ozzie just trolling all of us. He knew if he just wasted a measly 6 round pick on isiah ford, we woulda been dancing. Noooope, a no name DB

and the fact that the DB is from the same school as ford smh

Chuck Clark? Who's he? A safety from VA Tech who is supposed to be a special teams guy. This special teams focus with Harbs at the helm is really getting to me. He said the same thing about Humphrey and on the phone with Tyus brought up special teams and now this. This guy will destroy the talent level on our team iby choosing special teams players instead of simply talented players. But, I still think the first 5 picks were pretty awesome collectively speaking.

@BmoreBird22 report please

Just a really solid player.

Very instinctive and a sound tackler. He plays well enough and doesn't get duped by bunch formations or combo routes. Could play both safety spots because he has the mentality to come downhill and hit and has the range to play over the top.

Easily fooled by play action because he's too active, is not very big, and isn't the best to just turn and run in phase.

Essentially very solid depth who could spot start or be a third safety based on instincts alone, but likely won't ever be a starter due to size and athletic limitations.

Here's all Hensley's got:

Quote

With their final pick of the 2017 draft, the Ravens select Virginia Tech safety Chuck Clark in the sixth round. He's a physical, three-year starter in college who projects to be a special teams player in the NFL. Baltimore needed to add depth at safety behind Eric Weddle and Tony Jefferson.

This feels like a Harbaugh pick: a no-name DB who would have gone undrafted to play special teams. Hopefully this prevents Humphrey from playing ST though.

Strategy is lights out D. 3 and outs on  offense and solid special teams

This guy has tape on YT and he just plain is not any good. He better be the greatest STer to ever step foot in the NFL or we wasted that pick. Honestly we could have gotten that guy as an UDFA easily..

Believe me Harbaugh will find a way to use him only on special teams, destroy his confidence by ridiculing his special teams play and make him a dud by year 3.

poor final pick. He'll be out of the league soon.

My grades

M.Humphrey : D ( Not D as in he can't play, Just not good value taking into account the more well-rounded corners in the draft. If this were a second round pick i'd have given it a B)

T.Bowser :  B+ ( Explosive but raw, Jamie collins potential)

C.Wormley: B+ ( better than urban or guy IMO and high floor)

T.Williams A+ ( Stud)

N.Siragusa A (Pro Bowl potential)

J.Elumenaour C- ( Backup)

C.Clark F ( out of the league)

Draft grade: B

If we had taken another one of the top corners and traded back this would be an A grade class.

Some of the receivers left on the board would have been wildly good value at that pick and we took another DB instead. I'm genuinely starting to wonder if the FO knows we have to field an offense at some point.

I'd imagine he plays a lot of special teams for us

That pick doesn't nullify a pretty great draft, but call me crazy, I think you should take a guy in the 6th with a remote chance of actually contributing one day on offense or defense.

Great draft, this pick won't screw me up completely. 5 rounds, 6 great players.

We must be waitng for Boldin to make up his mind or something because this is just crazy too not grab a wr.

I would not mind seeing Boldin come back and play in Purple and black. I also would like to see Oz possibly look at the CFL and grab their top WR to come in and compete just a thought though.
