He doesn't make them often, but he's still a match up nightmare for any defender and a good route runner for a tight end his size.

He doesn't have amazing long speed as he's a long strider, but he won't get caught from behind.

I never understood why scouting reports all said he had this great deep speed and was a natural deep threat. I said day one he's gonna fall due to his lack of speed. The the combine came and he did fall because apparently nobody noticed he was slow on tape?

He isn't slow and he has deceptive speed, but he isn't a great accelerator and he isn't blazing like a John Ross.

I'd say he's a deep threat.

I agree. I noted all this in the couple times I mocked him to us, but NFL.com scouting reports before he combine literally started with "one word comes to mind with Isaiah Ford... speed" and I was like lolwut.
