Ozzie's had plenty of bad 1st round picks, especially lately. But this is the worst ever.

Havent even seen the kid play, pump your brakes....would say the worst 1st rounder we had are between Michael Oher and Matt Elam

The guy that started at RT when we won a Super Bowl is the worst 1st round pick we've ever made? Elam I can see being in the argument but Oher started a lot of games, and while he wasn't the consistent pro bowler we have all gotten used to from Ozzie, he was a consistent starter and was only a 23rd overall. Even Elam was a #32 pick.

Travis Taylor at #10 in 2000 or Bowler at #19 in 2003 would be worse value picks than either of those guys when you take into account the strength of the draft spot.

At first I hated this pick, but now in retrospect, it seems more sensible. The best QBs (Brady, Rodgers) kill zone defense. Now with the best safety tandem in the league, the Ravens need press corners. Remember Shareece playing 8 yards off the WR on every play? Now we have 3 corners who can press. Since Ozzie had the inside scoop on all the AL players, Foster (who I was hoping for) and Allen must have issues we don't know about. In any case, nailing the next 3 picks is imperative. I hope one of them is Juju.

Was really hoping Barnett or Allen, but Humphrey addresses an area we have been absolutely trash in for years now. Everyone was crying for a corner, but we sign Carr and suddenly it's no longer a need?

Taking Foster or one of the OT made no sense to me. It's unwise to use a #16 overall pick on a RT or a LB when you already have a first round pro bowl LB. There is plenty of mid round value that can start at RT/ play ilb beside Mosley.

Time will tell, but we should have the most physical and talented secondary in the league.

You know coming from Bama he's gonna have the work ethic, drive and coaching prep it'll take to be great, now all we need is for him to be brought up to speed asap.

I think both Allen and Foster had or has shoulder issues and received bad medical grades.

You know what! Forget all the hate and upside down smiles!, I LIKE THIS PICK, and I like this kid!

I hope he just pisses off Brady and Ben.

You are absolutely correct- The cry for CB help was loud and clear from early December on. The Ravens have been weak at this position for years and it showed big time when Smith went down for too long, too may times last year. It pretty much lost the playoffs for the team, not that I blame on player, what was to blame was the depth ability at the position.

Humphrey was the leading CB throughout the entire pre-draft process. No one corner pushed him down or moved clearly above him. The Ravens called his name out early as a prospect, in fact so early many forgot about him and the importance of a young, fast, big, strong, first ranked "starting corner" draft choice.

And lastly the big "what if" still looms over M&T. Healthy players are critical to the Ravens success, especially one particular CB.

I like the kid, I like the Pick and I hope we like the on -field play for years to come. Congrats to Marlon Humphrey.
